Count Reuven's- Search Margrave's House Bug (wine bottle bug)

So I know you are supposed to place a letter in the correct slot in the wine cellar to open the secret doorway. My game appears to be bugged, because the spot to search when using you witcher senses appears to be on the other side of the wall and cannot be activated. I can't advance in the main quest line and have been stuck for quite some time. Any way to fix this?? Please help.

Try the empty wine bottle that's on the shelf in the room with the secret door. That might fit better in the wine shelf slot than a letter
