"Detroit's solution to the problem is to wall off its Combat Zone."

In other words they build a wall around the small fraction of the city that wasn't a Combat Zone?

Day 280 of #countdowntothedarkfuture gives us what we really want. The vidshows of the Dark Future! All this week we'll look at the shows popular in 2020!

Maybe we could get "Have to Know" on CNN ... no ... wait ... RL politics aren't allowed ...

You Decide! sounds like really cool concept -- but it also sounds like it could go from amazing to abysmal and back in no time.

Day 284 of #countdowntothedarkfuture returns to the regular numbering (curse that Bartmoss!). From animation to pornography, the vids of the Dark Future cover a wide range.

"On today's episode of Pop-Drop Inferno, we leave the city walls to visit Seejay Vijak's White Rabbit Emporium: a struggling, exo-corporate operation that has been drawing business away from the cullinary market for nearly a decade. He probably thinks he's in for the deal of a lifetime...!"

IRL not many things could lead to a military coup in the US; but abandoning troops certainly would mean any that had not been deployed, or any future troops, would have little to no reason to trust/support the government.

Full borg conersions definately have their time and place (space and deep sea come to mind) but the expense (in terms of money and humanity) pretty much limits such things to a small number of individuals.

Think about how often you see someone in a wheelchair rolling down the streets. It's not so uncommon to cause most folks to gawk but it's rare enough to make everyone take a second look.

In the CP2077 demo that bodyguard has full body plating, but he's apparently the only one as everyone else is shredded by Trauma Team, and his is disguised to look like normal skin to avoid unwanted attention.

Well considering:
-Doing the job of full groups of mercenary V is going to be filthy rich (even more if killing everyone then looting them).
-V is immune to humanity loss.

V have no reason not to become one.

Thats the goal. give me a gemini or even better a Raven Microcybernetics / Versace Angel with all the proper ugrades. Feel & look better, be stronger, life longer, goodbye all the small pains of a meatbeag body. i want it so badly. For my V too ^^

If that means some suckers gotta go, well then some suckers gotta go.

Humanity loss leads to cyberpsychosis though. Sure, contractors (firefighters, space and deep sea workers and the like) have psychiatric help but the rest usually end up at the morgue by the Psycho Squad.
