Well, there's a Style that people see as "Nazi", that's just something you can't get around. It doesn't matter where it comes from originally. For example, the swastika. It's not a Nazi invention. They just took it. However, good luck using it today. Or, Hitler 'stache. Or the name Adolf. Or the name Hitler. Or Göring. And so on.

There's just connotations for certain things, and certain military gear and looks just bring "Nazi" to mind. It's unfortunate, but it's true.

Also, WW2 Russian military isn't appreciated in all circles either. That's just how it is.

Ok Mac, keep seeing nazis everywhere, but i'm telling you, its about time to reclaim things they ruined. I'm just saying. It's like saying "I saw hitler drinking water, so water reminds me of nazis."

And oh, look, WWI British body armor:
View attachment 850

Exact same thing, but since Germans stole the original design it's suddenly a nazi armor. Also not all German soldiers were nazis anyway. Some fought because they had no other choice. (Either that or death) Very few Germans were actual Nazis. (Compared to entire German population) Hundreds of thousands out of a population of millions. Many soldiers hated Nazis.

(By the way, "Reputed to have stopped a piece of shrapnel when worn by a British soldier during the Battle of the Somme in 1916." It seems to be a sturdy piece of armor.)

I'm not seeing Nazis everywhere. I'm all for reclaiming all they ruined.

I'm just realistic.

So your realistic argument basically is "Even though they didn't really invent it and it doesn't really belong to them, they used it once or twice, so it's all evil nazi stuff now." Brilliant argument, did you know hitler and nazis inhaled and exhaled OH2? They ruined it, so don't do that anymore, ok? :D No matter air was there long before Germans, they used it dammit :D

Well, no need to get so confrontational my friend. :)

It's just a fact that the majority of the people on this planet think of Nazis, or Hitler, because of certain things. I wish it wasn't so, so that we could put those assholes behind us, but that's just how it is. Having said that, neither of the pictures of apparels you linked was too "Nazi" I think.

I hate those assholes as much as the next guy.

I wasn't being confrontational intentionally. I was trying to make a point in a funny way (unsuccessfully), please don't misunderstand my friend. :)

Anyway, how about some Stargate armor? :D

I mean would you look at that. :D

That's AMAZING! As a man, I have to say the gun makes me feel somewhat..lessened.

Also, nice work. This might be our first descent towards Godwin and you guys were civil and everything. No mods even. Very nice.

You can't really invoke Godwin when someone posts something straight from WWII. That's not what it's for. :)

Not before breakfast please. Style over substance, remember? STYLE? And wtf is that in his hand?

It looks like the kind of clothes the termite exterminator might wear.

My favorite part is how the armor protects most of the ear, but not the neck.

If I ever had to fight someone wearing that, I'd be laughing so hard that they'd actually have a serious advantage. It's brilliant, really—lulz warfare.

There are two Stargates I've ever held in any respect: the original movie, of course, and Stargate Universe, although that was mostly thanks to Robert Carlyle. This guy in this armor must be from the kiddy Stargåte series.

So when, in another thread, you said:

Yeah. Rules-wise, Cpunk has a great, fun and horribly, horribly lethal hand to hand system, some cool melee gear and some nice melee cyber. But all of it is completely outnumbered and outpowered by the guns. Lots and lots of guns. In terms of nlarge numbers of weapons, they do not lack for gear.

Was this what you were thinking of?

The last few comments have made me deeply regret saying nothing about that gun, so here are five things:

- That's what happens when you set your phasers to vibrate.
- It's the first gun where the safety is a condom.
- There are two big reasons why he's standing in the picture.
- In his defense, when you dress like that you have to have something to offer the ladies.
- It's the world's first killdo.

Stargate had a really great start, it's sad that sci-fi channel ruined that as well.
