Crack the ritualist's shard bugged?

I've done it twice now. I reloaded a save to before I cracked it and did it a second time but still it won't complete. Is this quest bugged?
One of the other cyberpsycho quests was also bugged. I managed to complete it by reloading a save from earlier and it successfully completed. But this quest won't. I don't know what is causing it.

Thanks for the confirmation. Reason I asked, I'm monitoring whether specific issues are related to the OS, which you just clarified as highly unlikely, despite me thinking otherwise.

There seems to be this inconsistency in the game that when it occurs, it more or less soft-locks the current job, side job, or gig. The occurrence is 100% RNG related, happens without warning and leaves no trace whatsoever. The only known remedy is what the OP already stated they did which didn't work in their case, reload a save from before the occurrence.

This particular gig proceeded without a hitch in both our games, as I'm still on W10, so might as well count out an OS incompatibility. But yeah, super tough nut to crack, this one.

It's likely the result of a super-exclusive set of actions that you performed earlier in the game. I'd recommend reloading to a point before that gig appears in your mission log, then playing through it again. It could be as simple as something you did out of the intended order during the quest or something that was skipped.
