Crafted a level 47 sword....will I ever use it?

Seeing how most people who finish the game aren't at that level, I wondered if I will ever be able to use that sword I crafted without needing mods?

I tend to trail off the beaten path a lot and I do get many cool loots.

I don't want to do NG + cause GWENT don't carry over sadly.

Gwent is too easy as it is, in my 2nd play through I lost maybe 5 times. How could anyone enjoy it with a full deck starting out? The fun was all in collecting them.

So the only reason you're not going to play the game a second time NG+ or otherwise, is because Gwent cards don't carry over in NG+?

If you plan on playing a second time, why not play NG+ Gwent cards wouldn't carry over to a new game anyways, nothing changes there.
