Crash - Chapter 2 - Dike - EE - Steam

So I've been playing for a little over a day and got to chapter II, no problems, runs smooth but the game crashes consistently whenever I try to go into the Dike next to that Knight from the Flaming Rose. I talk to him, cutscene, go to door, and it briefly shows a loading screen then crashes. I've looked this up online, but never seen a problem before.

My rig:
Proc: AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4 GHz
RAM: 16 GB RAM
VidC: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
HD: WD Cavier Black 2 TB

First try disabling autosave to see if that helps with crashing .
Also look in the witcher/system folder for an ERR/LOG TXT file and attach .
File path would be
X:\Program Files(X86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher\system
