Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my message. I’m seeking some guidance as I work on creating my own mods and have run into an issue I haven’t been able to resolve.
As a test project, I’m attempting to modify Panam’s head mesh so I can learn the tools before moving on to more complex work. I’ve successfully edited the mesh in Blender while keeping vertex counts, seam locations, and topology consistent. I also followed the guides, removing shape keys prior to export and using the appropriate add-ons to export the file as a .glb.
After importing and exporting through WolvenKit, everything appears to process correctly. However, in-game the face mesh is invisible, and in the WolvenKit viewport (lower left), the head is oriented face-down instead of face-up.
I’ve tried fixing this in a number of different ways, including adjusting rotation in Blender, but nothing seems to work. The mesh appears to shift unpredictably each time I bring it into WolvenKit. Yes, I’ve renamed it. Yes, I’ve changed its orientation in Blender by trying different rotation fixes. Yes, I’ve applied and baked all transformations. Yes, I’ve ensured the vertex count and topology remain the same.
I’ve followed all the guides and videos, but I feel like I’m either missing something or possibly encountering an issue with the program itself. I’m currently using Blender version 5.1—would switching to a different version help?
Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help.
