Tested the new "Doll's Action Driving Camera" mod that's suppose to increase the intensity of speed. Shows real promise but needs further trimming to let it come on par with the actual speed.

2nd test of the "Doll's Action Driving Camera" mod. This time it's set at 0. The first time it was set at 1.00. Way too high. Its slider uses a table of 5. I tried 5 but that was still unnaturally too much. If you could choose 1 or 2 would be perfect.

Windrose has been rather enjoyable experience overall. We are getting close to final boss, but not quite there yet. I have really enjoyed all the things related to base building. These pics are from our (near the) end game base:

Not quite like that one, no You have three options for a ship (+small boat): Ketch, brigantine or frigate.

Depends how you define "building". You get a blueprint for the ship, then you have to gather the materials for it, then you click "build" (or whatever it was) and then you can sail with it. And bombard some enemy ships on the way (if you added the cannons, that is).

Edit: But you can't make a "galleon" type of ship. I may have misunderstood your message a bit

Depends how you define "building".

Building a ship from the ground up, like Ark. Can be way more fun.
