That's assuming your assimilate units even survive that long in a round. I mean, look at all the removal that was added. If assimilate isn't properly integrated, the way thrive is, NG players will continue using neutral cards as their core.
Sure, Anna will be good in some instances thanks to the RNG Jesus, but what about every other instance? It just sucks that this is the direction that CDPR went with for NG.
I won't deny that reveal is a horrible mechanic, however the odds are completely controlable and using Anna on a 10 card hand is completely your fault if it fails.
A lot of cards like Regis are generally usable and guess what you can pull.

You don't get a random card. I guess you choose one on the board.
Nah yeah, you're right. She isn't that bad. She easily can be though.
I still think Dahi's ability is much better for an assimilation deck because you know exactly what you get and build a strategy turn after turn.
The only "good" cards i could imagine are emissary, duchess informant, alba armored cav, spotter?, Viper Witcher (for mill.. maybe thats what we should go for now.)
Not the greatest ability but it could be good against point slam decks. Her prominence will really depend on what the meta looks like. If there are alot of value oriented decks thin on synergies/combos she could see play.
