Crossbow Bug?

I have arrived after ship wreck on Skelligge, though now I seem to have an enormous crossbow on my back that does not show up in any inventory. How do I get rid or it? I hate crossbows and do use them for anything but spear fishing.

Is your issue similar to this ? If so, I believe CDPR rep has picked it up and you can also learn the workaround from the same thread too

Thanks I have done so. The unequipped method does not work but the Geralt/Ciri/Kiillall debug console method does.
