Villentretenmerth is not meele only anymore we've seen him scorch cards from both ranged and melee

it's interesting to see the good old bond sign on that 4 strength siege engine because we've never seen it on any other card before

and I'm curious about that card which shows a redanian soldier about to be promoted by (assumingly) king Radovid

There is also a Slyzard card similar to Villentretenmerth, but can be placed on any row.. Don't know if it scorches every row though. I am assuming it doesn't because it isn't a Hero.

My guess is it's like Commander's Horn or Mushrooms as a Special Card that does an effect.

We know 'Promotion' with the Redanian Elite when activated turns the 3 cards into Hero cards.
My guess is it's a basic Special card that turns a card into a Hero card. (Or maybe that a set of cards or even a whole row into hero cards)

As I'm writing that last sentence it seems too little just effecting 1 card and way too powerful affecting a whole row.

However if it is true, it could be used to keep Morale boost cards on the Battlefield, bonded, High STR minions.
(The main question would be, if their STR is affect by Mushrooms or Horns or Morale or Bond, does it Hero them keeping what they have or reset them back to standard and Hero them (Because hero's can't be effected by Buffs.)

In theory as I wrote the last sentence, affecting the Whole row could not be as powerful as I thought:
- Since it wouldn't work with Bonded, Morale Boost, Horns or mushrooms.
- Its a very... situational defensive card that doesn't help gain Strength
+ It would save things from Weather effects (at least their base Strength, still wouldn't get Bonded etc.)
+ Keep strong cards on the board - Like those Mahakaman Guards we spoke about in the other thread.
+ The Card would dissappear after the round ends so the cards are medic'able once more.

Final Thought: Placed on the Commander's Horn/Mushroom Glyph slot and Turns all units on that row to Heroes.

Promoting some cards to Heroes might be bad. Those cards won't be affected by Horns, Spores, Weathers (disadvantage for Weather-buffed cards). Apart from that you won't be able to bring them back from the Graveyard. IMO it would be balanced

I guess it's a protection from Scorch/Epidemic/Weather, situational card. Can be completely useless if enemy doesn't have any scorches/weather cards

Well if it was truly like Mushroom / Commanders Horn where it's a glyph based card. Then they could come back from the Graveyard since when the Round is over they'd lose the glyph effect and return to normal cards. One would imagine.

But as you say - a situational defensive card. And you' have to REALLY plan a deck to include it otherwise you'd just be screwing yourself.

This card is called Odrin: he can be placed on any row, He moves to a random row whenever it is the owners turn and he buffs the row he is on.
(Not sure how he buffs them - I'm guessing +2 Strength, but the possibilities could be high)

It's weird that they are adding a lot of cards which haven't been shown anywhere, but still are missing some from e3 videos, screenshots and gifs.

Golems: Deathwish Ability

On this screenshot you can see "Greater Golem" in the Graveyard (got Scorched by either the Dragon or Scorch Card in another player's Graveyard), Jade Golem and Golem in their rows:

http://media-seawolf.cursecdn.com/attachments/0/2/2_gameplay.png

Correction: Greater Golem upon his death summons Jade and regular Golems instead of 2 regular ones: http://imgur.com/FD6qOBa

They don't care about being killed - will always return with the same Strength, but separated into two or four cards. Only vulnerable to Weather debuffs. You can protect other cards from Scorch or Epidemic.

It's better to use Weather Debuff on the Great Golem, because he'll spawn 2 units in different rows - Jade Golem Melee, Golem Siege.

The Golem with Deathwish ability is extremely strong just for one round unlike Morkvarg, unless you can revive him from the Graveyard.

Is it confirmed that Olgierd has deathwish like the golems? I could see him working similar to Morkvarg (who has the same symbol as deathwish but a different effect) in that he comes back after every round but weaker.

I think the bone cross just symbolises an ability that activates upon the death of the card/its removal from the table.
