When will the developers release the system requirements for the game that is already complete, and just needs polishing and a little debugging.
I mean for Christ sakes, your already selling a game and you still have not OFFICIALLY told us what it will take to run it (PC).
I'm not a game engine developer, but I bet polishing stuff may include getting rid of bugs or memory leaks or anything else actually can and may impact the performance and FPS in a way that makes it complicated (to say the least) to understand what the system requirements are.

And, well, with the next generation of consoles coming, and 3080, they're probably going to try do something good-looking with those, while not leaving people who don't have the absolutely latest tech behind.

So, it's probably not as simple and straightforward as it seems.

FYI
PS5 version wont be out until sometime in 2021

What do you mean wont be out? Cyberpunk 2077 will work on both PS4 and PS5.

What will come out in 2021 is PS5 "upgraded" version, most probably meaning better graphical fidelity etc.

I mean the ps5 version of cyberpunk will not be directly available when cyberpunk is released this year.

There are literally dozens of transcribed/recorded investor meetings for cdpr.
One of the most recent specifically stated that the next gen console versions of cyberpunk will not be available until 2021.

Side side note
The meeting previous to this recent one outlined how the 2nd delay was geared more towards timing and income generation than the bugs that need worked out.
Dont worry, microtransactions will not be part of single player but definitely will be part of multiplayer. Which also will not be released until after the next gen console release.

Just offering some insight I havent seen anywhere else on this forum.

I have listened to those investor calls and it said exactly what I said - the game will work on both PS4 and PS5(it should look & work slightly better on PS5 already at launch). Then in 2021 an upgrade for PS5 will come out.

I mean, there's even a post about it on forums: https://forums.cdprojektred.com/ind...consoles-compatibility.11032625/post-12043250

Because that "polishing" involves optimization and that greatly affects the hardware requirements.

I mean for Christ sakes, your already selling a game and you still have not OFFICIALLY told us what it will take to run it (PC).
Tell me about it. I preordered the game over a year ago, during e3 2019, without any knowledge of the hardware requirements.

I just hope my computer can actually handle the game. I am concerned, hopefully all the settings go high and powerful enough to make cyberpunk2077 look amazing, but also low enough that JUUUUUUST in case............. my computer... can't handle it.... that maybe... JUUUUUUUUST maybe... maybe it can. I mean, I don't think it will be an issue. I'm more worried about hard drive space, after install the game by itself, but then I worry that the DLC's will be so many gigabytes that they wont be able to finish installing, but then ALSO mods. Hopefully CDProjektRed:cool:can optimize the code and the game well enough that Cyberpunk2077 (and the eventual DLC's that may exist) can take less gigabytes of storage space than they originally supposedly mentioned a long time ago, but I understand that even that was just a guess estimate.

Will they support preloading a week before release? I have a slow internet connection and that helps me play games the day they come out.
This would be great, hopefully they allow gog users to download only 90% of the game even if for example I only want to download the offline backup installer, since I never use gog galaxy. Hopefully this can be done in a safe way, but I would really appreciate it since I'm concerned I'm going to be waiting hours to download it because of file size.

Yep if you stare at an NPC too long they will start giving you weird looks in return like. ' wtf are you staring at? ' I'd also imagine some even pulling a gun on you but that's not confirmed
I just hope most NPC's don't automatically get angry so quickly just because V is standing somewhere or looking at something else. I worry that maybe I will be exploring or walking around and NPC's may get mad at me if I stay standing anywhere too long if the NPC's think I'm bothering them, even if I'm not. But maybe I'm not worried because I think CDPR will handle it really well.
Also the NPCs that might 'look' similar can be different with the randomized cyberware they have so you rarely see two identical NPCs and honestly it's not a big issue as GTA had that shit for the longest of time and I barely pay attention to that.
I'm actually kind of curious how many different possible combinations of NPC's there are, considering all the different possible types of clothing, NPC appearances, cyberware, and all kinds of other factors, as well as the amount of non-story driven random NPC's that are still somehow date-able, Like, can we date a randomly generated NPC, and after dating that randomly generated NPC, do they get saved by the game and turned into an NPC that is no longer randomized, but rather protected by the game so that they don't randomly stop existing like a normal NPC that is never seen again when you move to another part of the game? Maybe I am a little confused. That whole entire thought process inspires my mind to make me go further to ask the question(s) (questions - some of which are mentioned in another post I made linked below) of how many different possible looks and combinations of V characters there are (Especially considering the customization genital options and what options, possibilities, and limitations there may be), considering all the different customization options, some of which I am extremely excited about, and some of which I completely do not know if they exist at all, and which I deeply hope that CDProjektRed can confirm or deny the existence of. (eventually) I would really really appreciate a response from the best developers in the world, even though I often say in different posts that I don't actually need a response since I know they're busy and I totally get that, but I'm just saying, It would be cool. :)
Many questions itch, and I can not scratch them! haha :D
I only heard that some of the crowd density was " neerfed " but it was still by some accounts the most detailed and ' lived in ' world with many buildings with unique interiors and textures so you wont be seeing the same wallpaper or prick ground that you already saw a few blocks onwards.
I heard the crowds weren't really nerfed, so much as made a little more realistic or something. Not 100% sure though, it was one of those long discussions.
Let's not even mention that there is the upper and below section of the city which we haven't even seen much yet.
The anticipation is soooo intense! hype!

Considering the game is supposed to run on PS4 and XB1, the current generation of PCs should at least allow you to play it. Console ports are usually well optimized. Whether it looks amazing, that is another thing.

So more game level questions regarding if there is an area of the city or badlands that is still irradiated? Besides the fact that the Badlands reminds me of the "badlands" in Fallout 4, we know from the lore that at least one nuke went off in the city, and that the badlands were a warzone for the past wars. Add that the nomads are known for their construction and taking away old scrap, it would make sense if there was a part of the badlands where the nomads had sequestered the "glowing" materials. Any hints or ideas about an area that is inherently dangerous due to the fallout of past wars?

Was there wars out in the Badlands ?

I thought it was more about disease killing plant and animal life .

Well Westbrook was described as a former battlefield that was cleaned up and then exponentially gentrified; casino etc. And the badlands are right outside of Westbrook. It just seemed that everything was trashed from the last corporate war, and arasaka just moved back to the city after the cleanup finished, so the radiated waste had to go somewhere. Hence the questions about the badlands.

One of the HUD features I'd love to see is that the colour of your eyes should also be the colour of your HUD. That way you'll have a great immersive feel to the game since all 3rd person were removed.

Problem with that is you won't have cyber eye from the start, also i hear that now maybe you don't need to install cyber eye anymore.

Will the game support ultrawide resolution ratios like 32:9 = 5120x1440 ?

At least it looks like they went back to the red inventory/stat screen in some of the clips; though you may be able to choose, no clue yet as I've not seen anybody mess with options with the demo builds.

So now i am interested, does that mean you can use these quick hacks on random NPCs too? since you don't really need to breach the local network of an area to get access to them?
putting this here because it's a very good question: do NPCs have a 'standard randomised set' of hackable cyberware since it seems Breaching the local network isn't absolutely necessary to perform quickhacks?
