Curse You GOG!

That kind of sucks but so long as they cherry pick the open access games it could be ok. Still screw early access.

I think TW3 is only 10% off now.

UPDATE: Actually it's 20% off, but the ad on the front page is saying 10% so it's misleading.

It's two separate discounts. TW3 is 10% off but you get and extra 10% if you own the other two.

@vincentdante: I'd say in general, film industry is worse than gaming industry when it comes to crooked lawyers running the show.

Hmm. that brings an interesting picture. A crooked lawyer who by virtue of being crooked and by being a lawyer is straight ... like graves dug side by side at measured lengths.

For such people it's not a true virtue of being straight but rather a facade which hides the crookedness. Worse than a crooked lawyer is only a crooked lawmaker.

Is anyone familiar with fs-uae Amiga emulator? GOG just released Defender of the Crown which is an Amiga version. Supposedly it should be playable in fs-uae. I extracted original files (.adf) and got AROS open kickstart ROM for it, but it doesn't work (neither does it work with the ROM wich was bundled with the game). Any ideas?

UPDATE: There is an issue with Nvidia. It can be worked around. See http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=961862#post961862

Curse these great prices when the not-so-cheap Wasteland 2 is arriving Friday. Its like wanting to eat desert before the feast.

Wasteland 2 is coming on Friday! HUUZZZAAAHHH!!!!

Some truly hilarious and magnificent movies have landed on GOG from Dead Gentlemen Productions. Oh, the found memories or unsuccessfully holding in laughter while watching The Gamers during math class :p O the many weekends of inspired LARPing this led to :ice: If you've ever played a tabletop game, or even if you haven't, you'll probably enjoy its goofy humor.

Mutators sale on GOG. I want to know what I would get but 1) There are only a couple of interesting games and 2) I am afraid I would pay for a "mutator" and get some crap I'll never play. If it were Age of Wonders 3 or Divinity Original Sin 75% off I'd go ahead :p

Oh and by the way, preorders for Legend of Grimrock 2 are up. "Discover the secret of the island"... I hope they mean a giant monkey head and not an island-shaped cube final boss.

Sorry for double posting. GOG has some sort of "weekend sale" going on. Age of Wonders 3 50% off. Is it worth it? Or better to wait for a lower price?

Although I haven't played it myself, I've heard mostly good things about it. Solid gameplay, fun customization, a blend of Civ and HoMM. The campaign and diplomacy seem to be the weaknesses - campaign being too restrictive in terms of what you can do, a bit like an extended tutorial, and the diplomacy lacking depth. Focus seems to be on battles, not on negotiations.

Thanks Reptile. Looks fun but I am not in a hurry and I think I would rather get it at 75%. I'll think about it tomorrow.

Has anyone from around here played it?
