Wasteland 2 (all editions) is 50% on GOG now! I'll probably buy it. It's a good price and the Unity 5 edition should be coming out soon.

Expeditions: Conquistador is really cheap right now. It is a very good strategy game with turn-based combat on hex-grids. Exploration is very exciting, writing is surprisingly good, there are visible consequences to choices, and combat rewards tactical play.

In a nutshell, you lead a group of Spanish conquistadors through Caribbean islands (likely the Dominican Republic) and later the mainland (Mexico) during the very early stages of European colonization. Each member of your expedition has his or her own pesonality, which leads to possible conflict and different interactions. You must explore, hunt, rest, heal, organize people, craft, and manage resources, trying to keep everyone alive until you find what you're looking for. Whether you play a ruthless mercenary, a righteous inquisitor, a scholar or a true explorer with noble intentions is up to you. This is at least one chance to rewrite a sad chapter of history in a virtual setting :)

Edit: There is a Linux version of this game but I don't think GOG has it. I got it from Desura a while ago.

It's strange that GOG still didn't get the Linux version of Expeditions: Conquistador. An interesting bit. If you write to GOG support and ask them about why some Linux versions are missing (even though they exist), they usually provide a sensible answer. Their support is human interaction, and not some stonewall approach.

When I played it, the Linux version ran flawlessly. Can't imagine why GOG doesn't have it.

Just in time for the stellar reboot/continuation of a certain dystopian/post-apocalyptic film franchise:

Release: Convoy

Kinda like FTL meets Mad Max.

Convoy, a tactical roguelite inspired by Mad Max and FTL, is available now for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount!

Heavily armored vehicles, big bad guns, endless desert scapes. And it just so happens we're in the mood for that maximum madness kind of thing. Convoy is a squad-based tactical survival game with a focus on random encounters and tough choices. Your spaceship is damaged, a barren excess begs to be explored, but it's anyone's guess just what you'll find out there as you scavenge for those last few bits of hardware. You'll hang by a thread in high-speed tactical car chases while commanding a squad that's truly yours. Best of all, when you die - you die. The wasteland does not forgive.

The wasteland is far from silent. You can also take the sounds with you, whenever you go for a ride with the Original Soundtrack.

Become a fuel-injected suicide machine in Convoy, available today, DRM-free on GOG.com! The launch discount will last for one week, until Tuesday, June 2, at 9:59 AM GMT.

GOG normally supports indies, and progressively more mainstream games (such as the recent Telltale announcement).

Wonder why they're not taking Hatred. It's not like their audience (classics and indies) is mostly underage...

Their selection criteria were always somewhat subjective, so if they reject some games - it's their choice. I personally wouldn't be interested in it either.

I am SO much into TW3 right now I don't care for any other game. But I'll keep an eye out for a good price on Blackguards 2. Saw it 50% off, here's hoping it will be even cheaper.

I'm really not buying anything now, since I backed The Bard's Tale IV (and waiting to pay extra for their songbook add-on if they'll add it) and will probably back We Happy Few if they'll announce Linux release. And that's quite a lot for this month. TW3 is still far away :)

Gah, missed it again, god damn it.

Does GOG have a feature of sending you emails about games in your wishlist that are on sale?

Release: Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri

Stand in the way between your territory and destruction.

First-person sci-fi title Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri, the 1996 combat simulator, has just come exclusively to GOG.com and is available DRM-free for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

You, Nikola ap Io, are the one that will lead Strike Force Centauri into combat as what first seemed like the typical covert operation turns into a full-out assault. Choose between multiple types of suits, weapons, assistance modules and squad mates to follow your orders as the game pits you against all sorts of enemies - from pirates through psycho clones to tanks.

A variety of scenarios, weapons, mech and flight sequences, and more is what you’ll find in the classic Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri, now exclusively available and DRM-free at GOG.com.

What does the press say?

“A breakthrough in outdoor 3-D action sims, Terra Nova gives mech games and flight sims something to aspire to.” -- GameSpot“

Terra Nova is a good, fast-moving and atmospheric game - which is probably no surprise as it comes from the people who brought you System Shock.” -- PC Zone“

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to work on my tank-busting skills provided only with a croissant, a simple blowtorch, and those new killer drone packs they gave me a couple missions ago.” -- Computer Games Magazine

Release: Odallus: The Dark Call

The Call of the NES.

Odallus: The Dark Call, an authentic, modern and polished throwback to the feel and ambiance of the NES, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com!

Odallus: The Dark Call is a terrifyingly authentic throwback to the days of Metroidvania on the NES. It's a game that not only draws inspiration from titles like Ghosts 'n Goblins, Demon's Crest and Castlevania, but could easily be mistaken for one of them. For fans of days past, this title should have it all. At its core, the game is designed to recreate the ambience and feel of all the old school classics - for example, the graphics adhere strictly to the 8-bit limitations of game development back in the day. Odallus: The Dark Call makes the limitations its own, and combined with open, modern day design and responsive controls - it gracefully straddles the line between extremely old-school and extremely playable.

Peek through a highly polished window into the glory days of Metroidvania in Odallus: The Dark Call, available now DRM-free on GOG.com! If you can handle it.

Release: Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat

Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.

March onto the real-time 3D battlefield in the strategic, tabletop-inspired title, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat, now available for Windows, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Jump into the fantasy world of the tabletop game World of Warhammer from Games Workshop in Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat and take control of a small army. You will have to manage your forces and weigh your strengths and weaknesses wisely to extend your influence, expand your treasury, and enlist new recruits to see your army grow. Choose your battles carefully, as your moves will affect your in-game future. If you are up to the challenge of a highly difficult and tactically demanding strategy, Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat is for you, but be warned: your patience will be tested with the defeats you are due to face on your way to victory. The game’s combat system got many a word of praise, but do not be fooled - it does not come at the expense of character development, plot, or animation, and the music is astounding. All features of the title come together to truly bring the World of Warhammer tabletop classic to life.

Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat is DRM-free at GOG.com. If tactically challenging strategies are your thing, make sure to give this one a try.

In the press:

“Hopes gratified and expectations satisfied” -- Computer Gaming World

“Somewhere between an RPG and a wargame, Warhammer offers a refreshing change of pace for fans of either genre looking for a new play experience.” -- Gamespot

Release: Anno 1602 A.D. + Albion + Archimedean Dynasty

A Triple-A Ubisoft Digital Premiere

They may have been nearly lost since the late nineties, but they're very much alive in game design (and our fond memories) even to this day. Today's triple Digital Distribution Premiere from Ubisoft is not just a set of releases that start with the letter A, it's also a collection of games that introduced something new to their genre, offered a unique combination of playstyles and design choices, or tried something fresh and risky with great payoff.

All three releases are updated to work with Windows 10, and are available in a classic Ubisoft bundle at 20% off!

Anno 1602 A.D.
is the one that spawned a series famed for its ambitious mix of real time strategy, business simulation and city building. It's a game that throws you, a pioneer of the unknown, into humanity's most far out frontier to colonise and conquer. Here, you'll find everything from exploration, trading, resource management, diplomacy and even combat - truly solidifying the experience of a true freedom to design your world, and the absolute control to do so your way.

Albion
is a game that takes classic RPG and Dungeon Crawling, a healthy dose of humor, and risks its dangerous voyage far, far beyond earth into humanity's true final frontier. It's a deep-space adventure that draws bits and pieces from an unusual pairing of titles like The Elder Scrolls and Ultima - all to feature great looking 2D overworld exploration with detailed first-person 3D combat. Its most direct roots, however, stem from titles known as "Amberstar" and "Ambermoon" - two parts of an Amiga trilogy that never came to be concluded. Designed by the original team behind the Amiga classic, Albion is their true spiritual successor in everything but the name.

Archimedean Dynasty takes on one of humanity's biggest, most unfamiliar and inaccessible unknowns: the deep, dark sea. You'll pilot a state-of-the-art submarine to brave the depths and trenches of an underwater colony in turmoil. The bulk of the gameplay will be familiar to veterans of series like X-Wing or Freespace, but it's the absolutely unique setting and atmosphere that truly make this title worth remembering. Archimedean Dynasty soon spawned the AquaNox series, making today's release the final piece of a trilogy unique enough to truly earn a place on anybody's shelf.

Brave the distinct unknowns with the Anno 1602 A.D., Albion, and Archimedean Dynasty bundle, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com! The launch discount will last for one week, until Wednesday, August 5, 1:59 PM GMT.

Ah, you didn't know about this debacle? AOW3 developers said they don't care about releasing it on GOG, and gave bogus reasons despite being pointed to solutions for their imagined proiblems. I'm not buying anything from them with such unprofessional attitude which, as they also bizarrely claim, means treating all customers equally: https://www.gog.com/forum/age_of_wonders_series/linuxport/post15

Equally?? You don't say...
