Okay this has been keeping me from enjoying modding along time now, there dont seem to be any easy way to import costum tiles ( areas ) into the game. If anyone has some time and are able to show me please contact me. I have tried using the offical exporting tools and using the mdb importer as referance(importing witcher areas) but without luck. If your in the same postion as me you can post replays aswell, maybe this will root out some more that feels like me.

Can I ask what kind of areas you have been importing (assuming you have been using twMax), and have you had any problems when importing them? The larger exterior areas I had not tried to import yet, but the smaller interior I did get to import. So if you have been working with exterior areas I would like to know how your experience has been so far. Thanks,MDA

The team that made Deception made a new area, and it works fine, so it IS possible. Have you seen their tutorial about importing new areas, here: http://djinni.wikia.com/wiki/Area_Exporting and the sample area they made for modders to look at, here: http://www.moddb.com/games/the-witcher/downloads/example-area

Yes thats right, it was an interior. I looked how it was put together. There was the actual model of the house and then there was the collison n walkmesh, camra collison etc. but for some reason I where not able to replicate all the elements that an interior needs and export via the offical tools, twmax works great though.

Yes I have. But the materials section is very hard to follow. Im not saying Im ungrateful, rather its a shimmer of hope atleast. But a video tutorial perhaps would be more then needed for something like this. also the test area they give you dont to seem to work 100 % , at som minor slopes and geralt stops even if its a walkable surface. thanks for your time :D, if anyone has some time please help; im not really a beginner to 3d max but I really would appricate some help with exporting ;D - that would be awesome !
