That doesn't prove anything. You know what does? Mike Pondsmith on record telling us exactly why AVs were never implemented even though at some point the devs wanted to, 05:00 - 05:30 mark is what I'm talking about:
I noticed a possible romance with BlueMoon at the end of her mission. But I didn't even have time to choose a dialogue to start this possible romance that she literally disappears.
I tried again several times but nothing to do, I only had time to choose a dialogue and she answered me even as she disappeared ... and then, nothing more.
Very disappointed =/
