Cyberpunk Soundtrack

It's weird, even though I absolutely loved Bullets by Archive in the original teaser, I never bothered to check them out to hear the rest of their work.

And boy was that a mistake because they are absolutely incredible.

I hope the next trailer CDPR does features their music.

Seriously good stuff, I'm ashamed I didn't check them out sooner, though someone probably already posted them I'm sure.

For that 80's throughback it needs a decent dose of synth.

If they got John Carpenter to do the soundtrack it'd make the game a 10/10 for me no matter how the game performed...

If you haven't already heard this album I suggest you listen to this, pure bliss.

Full on with eighties! Listening to Blood Dragon's OST right now and it's so damn refreshing, reminds a bit of first Terminator.

Listen to this:

Witcher was more than great, it damn well stood apart from the rest ( Bloodborne, Fallout IV, DAI, MD, Uncharted...all great soundtracks in their own right, but far too safe and "didn't I already heard this before" familiar).

Am I the only one that hopes they have some good classic 80's gothic rock?

Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, etc. I'd love to see that in the game.

Also as a fan of the Heavy Metal movies (both of them) I think their soundtracks are right up the alley of Cyberpunk.

Some notable examples I remember:

MDFMK - Missing Time:

Monster Magnet - Silver Future:

Probably been posed a lot but:

Gotta love the classics.

Not synth-noir but some cyberpunk'd noir music would be amazing:

Also:

Russian operatic style is simply the best, when given a electronic twist you've got the future of opera.

Absolutely perfect for this game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSbocsvpHU0&list=PL8FC35935C952E7D5&index=2

Through a shattered city, watched by laser eyes
Overhead the night squad glides
The decaying paradise

Automatic sniper
With computer sights
Scans the bleak horizon for its victim of the night

As the end is drawing near
Standing proud, I won't give in to fear
As I die a legend will be born

You won't break me
You won't take me,
I'll fight you, under blood red skies

Yes. Priest are the best.

Electric Eye is pretty relevant too:

"I'm made of metal. My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

I'm elected electric spy
I'm protected electric eye"

Any excuse to have Priest in is good to be honest.
