Cyberpunk Soundtrack

I kind of wonder if the game will have legit original Noir songs and or sounds for that matter.
I think those musics, Jazz Noir will suit this game quite much.

Brigador - Vol. I

Made my own Spotify Cyberpunk2077 playlist awhile back, it's got a bit of everything(remember to shuffle!). I really hope that they add radio stations similar to GTA since music seemed to be a big part of 2020.

I totally change my mind, this is the only band that should be on the soundtrack! You don't get more cyberpunk than this! lol

Daniel Deluxe did a great job with the soundtrack for the game Desync:

Any Hotline Miami John Wick fans?

Haha...

Here is another amazing playlist, one that even though is not focus on the synthetic mixes, (retro like).
This one it'st is more real raw modern noir songs. But the good thing about this playlist, is that it does have some musics that fits and kind of feel part of a world such as Cyberpunk 2077.

Wertandrew, the music Destruction a New is ideal for Trailer, If I get the exclusive beta to the game I'll make a video trailer.

Hello CD Projekt!

Synthwave being obviously the most cyberpunk genre, the game should be full of it, lots of artists listed already :)

A good composer for the game would be Clint Mansell I think! Hes versatile and we know he can do the cyberpunk vibe from his work on san junipiero episode of black mirror. I imagine he would be pretty expensive but definitely a good investment!

So Clint Mansell writing the incidental music and general cyberpunk vibey sounds and a soundtrack of mainly synthwave would be the way forward! Tho you should mix up the genres in various nightclubs, say an industrial club (cyberspace junkies), noise metal club (rockerboy hangout), ambient club (low level corporates going to "rough it" and do some drugs), jazz and classical restaraunt/ballroom or whatever rich people go to (execs engaging in recreation)

Obviously being the best developer currently in the world you will have guys who can think about this better than my ramblings xD

I recently found this and think it quite suits cyberpunk.
Make it shorter, slower and less dynamic, remove pop effects and solos, remove repetition and make it somewhat more unique, maybe even add own text. Chorus needs most of the work.

I imagine scene, when this could be playing. Some major friendly npc was killed and assassins are fleeing. Another friendly npc is running and jumping from one rooftop to another, in madness, sadness, fear, despair, adrenalin maxed, ready for revenge, with knowing that assassins are hiding and running out, but it cannot see or catch them. It is tossing implants away in anger and to "wash" from technology and pain, which caused dead of beloved ones. At the end it could scream, cry and yell from height to the very bellow streets, deep inside realizing that its friend is dead.

The lyrics "What did they aim for when they missed your heart" means that this npc wants to be killed instead of its friend, "shoot in the dark" refers to assassination itself and "soul is on fire" refers to madness and revenge mentioned above. I think lyrics are superb for this scene.

Also, it would be cool for cyberpunk in general to add singed music from time to time. Hear some song in background can really lift up atmosphere and make it more alive. Also, instead of playing "out of nowhere" , just for song itself, some cutscenes could be like TV news with human voice commentary and song playing on the background, or mp10 (haha) in player's pocket... Markets can have propagation songs, people can be singing or something.

I really feel like Senser (british band playing rapcore) fits to the Cyberpunk perfectly. There is punk and cyber as well imho.
