300k for a very luxury car is pretty much the same as in real life. The fact that a FIAT will be ever considered a luxury car, well, that's quite unrealistic. :ROFLMAO:

okokokokokokok......this gives me a glimmer of hope toward being able to set up a "live in" stepvan type of vehicle for 2077. At very least it would be a mobile place to stash gear and weapons. May not be a thing at first, but it has to happen somewhere in the 2077 franchise.

I think it'd be nice to have money traps like that where you can keep dumping cash into a crappy car just so it can perform on the same level and look almost as good as a marginally better car that's completely unmodified.
Dump like $20,000 Eddies to max out a car that's worth $5000, even though a car that costs $6000 performs and looks better without any custom work done yet. :p

It sports two methanol engines, giving it a range of 800 miles before refueling is necessary.

Umm, more fuel on board would usually mean a higher range before refueling. Two engines usually means less risk of getting stuck because of a damaged engine though a good deal slower, but also a little higher fuel consumption.

Maybe writing "It sports two methanol engines and has a range of 800 miles..." would be more correct.

Guess I spent too long in the military. All I see is a big red target that since it flies can't hide behind anything.

oh, that's a very valid point. Never thought about it.
What about helicopters? Are they good because of the heavy weaponry they have or other reasons? Curious to know how things really are. :)

Thinking again, could a flying car be more difficult to be hit between skyscrapers, considering the 3 dimensions setting and the obvious fact that mines would be totally uneffective?

Mobility and weapons range/accuracy ... and they can hide behind hills.

An AV may be able to hover but it's not as maneuverable as a helo, nor can it hover for long (technical reasons - take off/land sure, just hover in place, no ).

I watched a vid on YT Triple S League i think where they said the problem is out flying the landscape but maybe CDPR game engine is better/ faster to regenerate ????

Rockstar has been able to figure it out on much order software/hardware. I'm not sure of the main purpose CDPR wouldn't do it, unless they have specified as to the reasons why.

Given that CDPRs Night City is a LOT more dense, populated, and diverse then anything Rockstar has ever done outflying the terrain is only one aspect they need to consider. Others would be the need for non ground floor entrances, players being able to bypass most encounters, needing game mechanics for flight, needing game mechanics for crashing and burning, etc.

It's not near as simple to implement as many like to believe.

Nope.
It's a recoiless rifle, essentially zero recoil.

You REALLY don't want to be behind it when it fires!
