I downloaded it and bought the PL expansion to play my cross save, but it keeps crashing everytime I load a save with the expansion started! what do i do?

1. Make sure you have NO mods installed and that mods are DISABLED on your PC copy of the game.
2. Connect all of your platforms to the cross save system.
3. Load up the save on PC that you want to transfer to PS5.
4. Create a brand new save on a new save slot. Do not overwrite an old one.
5. Wait for it to finish uploading and then close the game.
6. Load up the game on PS5.
7. Look for the brand new save you just uploaded and load it.
8. After loading your cross save on PS5, save again on a new slot and delete the save you transferred from PC.

If you follow these steps you should have no problem loading a cross save on PS5. For some reason the cross save system only likes brand new saves. Overwriting an old one and/or having mods installed is what leads to the crashing. Any time you want to transfer your save to another system, just repeat steps 3-8. Step 8 is not required by the way. It just ensures you have a local copy of the save you're using just in case something goes wrong.
