I dig it. Have a feeling there's going to be plenty of variety that everyone should be happy. I do hope however that we get the option for custom music. There's not been a OST from CDPR that I have not loved, and I expect to enjoy Cyberpunk's as well. Still, the more options the better.

Similar to what @RaduMihai said, it seems like music for trailers. I couldn't really listen to it as is. I haven't really liked any of the music for Cyberpunk 2077 (though guess I'm one of the rare people who do like chippin in's new version).

BTW, will we get songs in other languages since Night City has such a diverse population with different cultures and languages?

I appreciate CDPR invests in artists to come up with what is so called fitting music.
I'm sure it costs a lot and there is a public for it. That public is clearly not me and I hope it's possible to turn this of or that music in the game can be chosen that has an actual melody and the singer isn't screaming so I can still enjoy the game without having to turn the sound of and the subtitles on.

Yup, it seems so. The two reggaetón tracks from the chinese demo are sung in spanish, plus I assume there are at least some japanese artists as well, maybe some french-speaking ones too.

More than that? Remains to be seen heard.

DUDE, WHY DOES THIS SOUND SO FIRE?
It also has a lot of weird possibly implied occult meanings. I could be wrong though. But then there's that forked blue tongue and the black goo. Man this game is gonna be so deep isn't it. All those references to "Light" in regards to both brightness and weight and "the sun" (another light source)
It's almost as if the song is being sung from the perspective of... welll.... a certain bad guy.

Remember how Jackie talks about the Maelstrom gang? He says "praying to the almighty triple 6" so I think this game is going to be extremely deep in occult lore.

I may be wrong here, but there were a few claims all over the place that the soundtrack (in its entirety) is being made specifically for the game. Now, recording all the songs from scratch for the game can mean at least two things:

• CDPR has insane amount of money for all the licencing or even sponsoring the artists. That is a lot of expenses!
• CDPR goes for not-so-famous artists which drives the costs down, or even strikes a deal for exposure in order to get themselves extremely cheap (or even free!) artists and their never before heard material. Honestly, if I was a musician looking for something to stick to, having Cyberpunk 2077 would be a great opportunity given the gravity and attention of the game.

Might be just me, but nothing from Cyberpunk trailers or gameplay videos sound familiar to me. I can't seem to recognize any artists I know, never heard anyone speculating over that as well, so we might actually get totally new and special tracks by aspiring dudes and dudesses.

Dude that is so cool, I hope lots of great underrated bands get huge amounts of exposure!

I might actually intentionally listen to the music of the game when not playing, if if even have a chance. I will probably be playing so much that I will just have to listen to it in-game on purpose.
