No real clue tbh.
That is what they linked in the troubleshooting page of CDPR...

Can you send me over that troubleshooting page? Wouldn't mind taking a look too.

Just had a response to the ticket I raised - asked me to uninstall all graphics drivers using DDU and then install latest driver - and not install geforce experience.

I'll try it and see what happens!

Same thing here.
Tried everything listed here, nothing helped. The game still crashes randomly every 3-5 min.

Experiencing the same occurrence. I hit play and I'm greeted with the "Whoa! Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined" message.

GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
CPU: i7-6700 3.4 GhZ
RAM: 16 GB
Nvidia Driver: 460.79
Windows 10 Pro of 2016

Tried a few recommended solutions, such verifying and updating files, disabling the GoG overlay, starting the .exe file in compatibility mode for Win7 8 Vista, disabling other programs, etc.

Nothing worked.

Well, it changes things. Game still crashes, but instead of hard-freezing into a single farme, now the system reboots on its own.

- Disabled all overlays (GOG and GeForce Experience for me)
- Verify/repair games files
- Using DDU for removing actual NVidia drivers

try these ones, but for me, it isn't working

same issues here..
i7 920, GTX 970. 6GB RAM.
Below spec, but running at around 30fps with low-medium settings.
Getting the exact same crash. Guessing it's to do with the lack of AVX support, how disappointing.

It looks like this is what it means by removing those Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables? https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-remove-and-reinstall-Microsoft-Visual-C-Runtime-Libraries.html

Basically, you gotta just uninstall each and then reinstall all of them. I think. Probably wait until someone who knows what they're talking about can verify!

What packages did you exactly download? I can only fine the 2015-2019 redistributable packages there, and now not even the red launcher will start (after hitting play on steam) lmao

You need to delete all C++ redistributables.
Then install both x64 and x86 from here:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
At first I tried to intall only x64, but launcher doesn't work without x86

Also, please make sure your system actually meets the minimum requirements.

So, what you are saying is that users with below specs wont get support?

Well, the thing is: in terms of speed a Hexacore X58 LGA1336 CPU like my Xeon W3690 from 2011 is way faster than the minimum required i5 3570k. I know how support works, where to argue with that with not being ignored?

Would be not cool if the "fix" for this issue just would be that the game checks for AVX on launch and refuses to start if not present.

I too have crashes after tutorial. I have a similar built to some here. Using a workstation with 2 Xeon X5690, 12GB RAM, GTX 1070.

After the tutorial it crashes and quickly sends error report. So I came here and found an interesting thread. A user fixed his crashes after figuring out what was causing them (for them). The user stated he changed his settings before starting the game, this created a file in C:\ User\*name*\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077 called UserSettings.json. They figured it was corrupt and deleted it. Now they can play, but the game chugs due to the settings being on Ultra, but they can't change them for fear it will create another corrupted UserSettings.json file.

So I tried deleting it...I still got a crash, but this time my PC was frozen for a few minutes and then the error report came up. I think this UserSettings.json file is part of the issue and so is the ultra settings not adjusting.

I've uninstalled the game to give it another try. After reinstall, will report back if not adjusting settings solved it or not.

Edit: No luck so far.

If the hardware is not supported, you can’t expect the game to run properly. There’s a reason why system requirements are released.

You can still try to reach out to support (I already mentioned how you can do that) but you can’t expect a good solution for the problem if the hardware isn’t good enough. In some cases lower all settings to the minimum might work, in others that might not be enough.

Can you give more info on this? I was able to download Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 all fine. But when I try to download the others (2008 - 2013), it keeps redirecting me to here - https://my.visualstudio.com/Benefits and I need a subscription with no way that I can tell of downloading the files. Do I need 2008 - 2013 or is it just 2015 - 2019?
