Cyberpunk crashes after pressing "Play" in CD Project Red launcher.
How to fix it?

I tried restarting PC and installing latest Nvidia driver. It didn't help

Spec:
Windows 10 LTSB. Steam version. Build 5946255
Nvidia 1060 6Gb

So I found something that helped me. If the crash log states that your gpu crashed for an unkown reason like mine did then what you need to do is rollback your gpu drivers to a previous version.

Same problem - "Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined" instantly after launching, I cannot even enter game menu. :( not to mention character creator. I'm so disappointed, I have bought this game a whole year ago and been waiting for a release day without a single complaint...

If the hardware is not supported, you can’t expect the game to run properly. There’s a reason why system requirements are released.

You can still try to reach out to support (I already mentioned how you can do that) but you can’t expect a good solution for the problem if the hardware isn’t good enough. In some cases lower all settings to the minimum might work, in others that might not be enough.

There are many reasons for having sys requirements. Like spelling out clearly if a specific feature like AVX is needed.

Do yo mean rollback to 457.51 or just to drivers that you had installed before 460.79?

I am currently running the game with this workaround, laggs like hell but maybe I will get past the scene and save the game to play without the emulator again...
So stupid!
Could also help the people with the street kid route to get out of the bar and save the game...

So that's how you verify the file install - https://support.cdprojektred.com/en/cyberpunk/pc/sp-technical/issue/1562/verify-integrity-of-game-cache-1. For anyone else, too.

TBH it feels like the only thing most of us can do is just wait until everything has been patched.

Interesting. It just said that 1 file failed to be checked and is being reacquired. Let's see what happens.

Edit:

It just added a 7.2 GB download.
