I have a RTX2080ti and a 10900k with 32gb of ram and the game constantly crashes. I've updated everything possible disabled all overlays and things in the background and it still crashes constantly. I even tried downgrading all the graphical settings and still the same issue. I'm now reinstalling the game hoping this will do something because I really want to play it and there is no reason why it should be crashing like it is when this doesn't happen with any other game I own.

For me the game kept on crashing some seconds after hitting the start button until i tried a clean reboot (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows).

Only thing: I don't wanna perfom the whole procedure of a clean reboot for playing and undo all the changes afterwards.

Anybody knows which services and/or programms are the possible culprits?

I can confirm that the patch to abort the offending function containing AVX opcodes works out well.

It causes no notable problems for me (or if it does, I can't tell them apart from any of the other minor bugs in the game). I have been able to enjoy the game uninterrupted, and just finished a 7 hour long stream in a Discord server without any issues at all.

For anyone on a CPU without AVX on the X58 chipset, I found a fix!

https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/34?tab=files

Just throw it in your cyberpunk bin folder and use the new exe to launch the game, it disables all AVX checks, works for me with my Xeon X5690

Hey, got EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION after swapping difficulty from Very Hard to Normal

Went through verifying file integrety and moving the game to a different HDD, no luck

Found out, I think it corrupted the save, as renaming the folder in "%AppData%/../Local/CD Projekt Red" from Cyberpunk 2077 to cbak (so I know it's old data) let me run the game no issues. Will be experimenting further with this to see if it's actually corrupt or not, but may be worth a shot for all of you with EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION errors.

(n) So what's your point? I tried reading as much as possible... which is possible 3/4 of all posts. The thread has 58 pages now!

I'm looking for a hint, which specific services/programms to exclude from msconfig and/or startup.

Edit: u should loosen that chain. The brain works better with more oxygen,

Is there something official about this from CDPR? Since they haven't even replied to my support request mail

I mean... is just a bunch of people with this kind of problems or is this something we can expect to be officially solved?

:rolleyes:Why don't u just keep calm and write nothing... maybe someone else tried disabling certain services and programms narrowing down it to certain culprits. Now, that would be worth a post.

for those that allready have a AVX enabled CPU that have crashes.
Simply disabled ray tracing, DLSS poses no issue tho.

Ray tracing crashes my game, disabling it worked like a charm.
Zero crashes in the last 3 hours of gameplay

I'm going to assume we still have no solutions for the "Gpu Crash for unknown reasons! "crash? I've done everything I can think of, it still pops up very very often.
