Cyberpunk 2077 PC Crash Issues

Hi,

I choosed that drug faction, as soon as I leave the first place, after on the right of the screen "mission goals updated" appears, the game crashes and I am landing on the W10 desktop. Happens all the time. Any clues about that?

PS: Heres a picture. When I leave this very first place, the game crashes.

Got the same exact issue, no matter what, the game crashes when I go to leave the bar, im running a:

• Intel Xeon X5690 (6 Core, 12 Thread 3.46Ghz)
• 48GB DDR3
• Galax Geforce GTX 1070 8GB

My hardware is similar, but i am running 20GB of ram. I am running every new game without any issue. This is gonna be fixed or should I refund?

I bought the game, now it's time to update the PC to play it
I have been waiting for 3 years. I'll wait some more.

To whomever discovered the Exe hack to remove AVX requierment, THANK YOU! I have been able to play flawlessly (AFAIK anyways). Sucks that it took a customer to figure this out instead of CDPR... but I will take what I can get.

I'm another success story with the AVX .exe fix, so thanks to the user who discovered that.

Question, if anyone knows... in terms of updates/patches... should we be putting the original exe file back in place before running any updates? Or does it matter?

I assume if the edited exe file is in the install folder, an update is likely to overwrite it, which is fine... but wondering if having the edited exe file in place might break/prevent an update...?

Likely the patch will overwrite your EXE again, so you'll just have to reapply the fix IF that happens. It sounds like the patch is going to fix that issue anyways by default so you may not need to reapply the fix at all, but we'll see...

@SigilFey I used that option yesterday and go no answer whatsoever. It is a good idea to post here. The more us post here the better chance they will do something about the crashes (for PR sake)

I could suprisingly, but it's always seemingly crashes at random places, so in whole 2 days of me trying to run it I only have 3 hours of gameplay. In the end I was just walking around the city and waiting to see when it will crash, but first crash was at the same place as the rest of crashes, when you walk out of the bar for the first time.

I think I got the same one and it was fixed by upgrading the windows and updating to the newest version.

Updated here everything mate, latest Win 10 and Nvidia Drivers. I even went far to check if there's cpu drivers, I updated my chipsets on motherboard too. No avail.

Interesting. The plot thickens lol. I will tell you though that I also have checked every possible thing just as you did. Waiting it is then i guess.

In the same boat as you, friend, except I get that error on hitting play. Tried every fix I could find.

Like everyone's saying, our current best bet is to just wait for the patch as the notes on GameStar (if they're actually from CDPR) say they're going to fix it.

I see it as a little less stressful that it's kinda just out of our hands for the moment - good time to get your affairs in order before all is fixed and we sink hours upon hours into the game lmao
