Gonna give them a bit of time. I've tried every fix on this thread, but no luck.

One interesting thing I've noticed is that I have done the Verify/Repair thing about half a dozen times. Each time I do it, downloads about 29MB. Not sure what this is about. Once should be enough, yes?

I have the same issue. I even switched physical memory cards as the error code has to do with accessing it. Nothing helps. New PC, clean Win 10 20H2 install, latest drivers no overlays.

It has to be bad coding.

same here, but i've heard it's some kind of GOG related file, so that's apparently unrelated

You just need to upgrade Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB v1607 to the LTSC v1809/v1909 or even better 20H2

I am reading that this has worked for some. I had Windows 10 Education running on an older version and experienced the same dx12 error. I upgraded to w10 education 20h2. Still same problem. I installed w10 pro on a separate ssd with a brand new OS, installed all the relevant drivers/distributables etc. Have the game on ultra low RTX off and I cannot even walk around in the bar for 1 minute before it crashes (street kid).

3070 from gigabyte (vision OC)
i5 6600k (AVX should be supported, either way not an AVX error in the logs)
Asus z170 mobo (someone mentioned that Asus mobo/gpu's can be thee cause). I tried underclocking my GPU to no avail.

Just got this GPU for this game 2 days back and I thought it was broken. But the 3dmark RT benchmarks I've ran yielded proper results as well as the dx12 benchmarks. Also minecraft with RTX enabled works just fine.

29mb is just normal data number after "verify/repair" in GOG Games, thats not a patch or something

In the same boat as you, friend, except I get that error on hitting play. Tried every fix I could find.

Like everyone's saying, our current best bet is to just wait for the patch as the notes on GameStar (if they're actually from CDPR) say they're going to fix it.

I see it as a little less stressful that it's kinda just out of our hands for the moment - good time to get your affairs in order before all is fixed and we sink hours upon hours into the game lmao

At least makes me kinda happy its not from my PC's end, I was ready to disassemble this fucko :disapprove:

I would also like to confirm that the string editing method on hexed.it works for non-AVX systems.

My system:
ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 (X58) LGA1366
Intel Xeon X5690
12 GB Triple Channel 1600 MHZ DDR3
1Tb SATA SSD
RTX2070 SUPER

I had to disable all overclocking on CPU and XMP profiles for it to stop BSOD'ing. Didn't happen with any other game before.

Running on Ultra (RT Off) @ 4K HDR DLSS Balanced 45-50 FPS

Edit: I forgot to add that the game is absolutely amazing in every aspect. I'm going to sleep now after 18 hours of trying to make it work. I was mad at this oversight from CDPR but honestly the sheer beauty and detail of this game blew me away so much that I forgive them.

That's an old system :) Almost identical to mine:

ASUS P6X58D-E
Xeon x5675
12 GB 1600 MHz Corsair Dominator DDR3
1TB Samsung SSD
ASUS Rog Strix RTX 2070 Super

Not terribly surprised. I haven't played a lot of games from GoG, and this is the first one I've tried to verify on. I have verified on Steam for a lot of games, and if there doesn't need to be an update there, I get no indication of a download. So I just wasn't sure how it worked on GoG.

Good to know I can stop trying that...lol.

Constant crashes during early game mission. "The Pickup" Any autosave during the mission if I die (Playing on Very Hard) if it goes to reload my last checkpoint, boom, crash to desktop. If I load any autosave during the entire mission, it crashes to desktop. If I reload my most recent manual save, before the mission, it works.

I guess I'll try manual saving during the mission? Super frustrating. Built a new PC and 75% of the reason was for this game.

Ryzen 5800X, 3070, 4.0 NVME, 32GB 3200 Ram, fresh Win10 Pro Install. Getting 60ish FPS @ 1440P on mostly high settings and performance DLSS and full ray tracing.

For those who meet the same crash issue as me: I checked the error message which is related to the GPU crash. I tried to lock my 3070 core frequency under 1500mhz it works for me. if it is above 1500mhz, it crashes anyway. I can play in-game stable for now. But I am still waiting for a massive bug fix for PC. Hope it helps. (BTW, I try different methods to fix this error, uninstall driver update windows, uninstall the game and reinstall again, etc all of those approaches do not help).

add Cyberpunk2077.exe file to scope and set DirectX to 11, This force to use DirectX11

Anyone having a potentially game breaking bug on the drive up the big bridge to the badlands? It just freezes and crashes, happens to me when going there in free mode and also in the driving part with Panama during Lightning Breaks. Can't get past it yet. OMG patch just landed let's see if it does anything.

Interested from those who used the modified exe to fix the AVX issue, can now use the regular (updated) exe and have it work?
