Cyberpunk 2077 PC Crash Issues

Hey everyone,

I don't want to give false hope, but I was having this exact problem all night.

i7 920 (non AVX)
RX 580
21gb RAM

The game would crash on Nomad just after the montage cutscene, when you sit in the car and it would crash to desktop.

I managed to get it to work by: loading the game, loading a previous auto save (the one right after meeting Jackie at the safehouse, if that makes a difference) then reloading the auto save where the montage cutscene starts. Then the crash doesn't happen.

I duplicated this three times by doing the above, but if I load the game and jump right to that cutscene it will still crash unless I do the above sequence first.

I haven't tested it to see how far I can get yet, so I don't know if this actually solves the problem for good, but it's progress at least. I can't test further because I need to go to bed, but I wanted to hop on here first to let everyone know in case it helps.

I've gotten to the park in the tutorial where it wants me to hack the screen, and when i press the button to do so it starts to bring up the hacking overlay and crashes,
I tried skipping the tutorial and going straight into the first mission, but when it wants me to hack the door, same thing, i press the button and it starts to bring up the hacking/scanning screen and it crashes,
I've even tried bringing up the scanner as soon as i get out of the elevator and walk to the door with it up, but as soon as i get close to the door it crashes,

Driverrs are updated, steam overlay and other stuff was disabled/off, I'm reinstalling the game now, but god fucking damn it. i feel like most likely im just going to have to fight steam in getting a refund,

I have this same nomad crash when the cutscence ends and I'm in the car. I turned off overlay too.

Yeah its working. I have no idea how. But the idea is every time u r crashing u need to load some previous save and then reload you last save.

I fixed it downgrading the nvidia drivers from 460.79 to 457.51.

I hope it works for any of you.

My specs are:
Intel core i5-9400f which I think supports AVX
RX 5600 XT OC
And 8GB of ram soon to add another 8GB.

During the corpo lifepath, after I finish a call with my spiritual guru or whatever, the game crashes.

So frustrating. I spent about 40 minutes in the character creation screen and soon as I finished doing so it crashed on me.
So I'm not even sure if it properly saved.
I tried just about all of the methods that were advised with no help at all, It's been giving me issues for that last 2 hours.
It just instantly crashes once the CD Project Logo Appears.

CPU: Intel i9 -9900K
GPU: Nvidia 2080 Ti
MB: Z390 Aorus Pro
32G Corsair Ram
Monitor: 3440x1440

I crash at the exact same spot as well as streetkid path.

There must be some trigger event in that doorway because I can sit at the doorway and the NPC's carry on their conversation etc.. but as soon as I cross that doorway threshold Boom! Game Over Man!

Edit: Steam version, 2070 Super (Updated Drivers), Win10, Intel I7, 16Gigs RAM

It's the exact same thing for me. I tried saving before leaving the bar, on multiuple save files, started a new game on a new save file, wated before leaving the bar, nothing changes. As soon as the mission update pops up on the left side of the screen the game crashes completely. I'm on steam too btw

Not so fast, I used this work around and tried to actually play the game. I was able to play the gunplay and hacking tutorial and then do a single mission, afterwards after the mission was complete I got back in the car with Jackie and the game crashed again.

I then loaded back in and loaded the autosave to try the work-around again and during the cut scene where Jackie is driving, my (otherwise stable) computer blue screened.

I'm running a 10yo CPU, I get it and if we all need to buy new hardware then that's what it is but some feedback and closure on this issue is needed. Do we wait for a patch or is this old hardware a show stopper?

we defenitily waiting for a patch. But a temporary solution is to do this "save-load" tricks

So how it works for me. I have my last save where im crashing (saveB). Also i have a bunch of working F5 saves (SaveA). Im loading SaveA then loading SaveB and it somehow works till the next crash i guess lol. At least i managed to go out of the bar as streetkid.
