Cyberpunk 2077 PC Crash Issues

Same problem. Game crashes as soon as I click PLAY in the launcher.

My issue is crashes after the tutorial, but deleting the UserSettings.json did do something. It still crashed, but this time my system resources were all tied up, frozen for a few minutes. The game probably tried to use ultra settings.

Also, I see that the devs want us using 64bit Windows...which is fine, it is what I use, but I see GOG installs it in x86.

I hope this helps and someone who can help does.

Yup same for me, tried the "save-load" trick but didn't work, as well a re-analysing the game's files or updating the drivers for my GeForce 2060 Super...

Hope CDPR will fix it in the next hours...

I have a sneaky feeling the crash is caused by my intel CPU not having the AVX features.

I'm using a intel x5675 CPU.

You guys that are having the same crash, what CPU are you using?

Hi there bud. Yeah a lot of i7 920, 940, 970s in here. I have a x5675 and same story, so it seems x58 gen is a bust. I kind of saw this happening and couple of days ago managed to buy a Ryzen 5800x. After so many years it was time. Still they should fix this ASAP for non AVX CPUs. Asap I said!!! Oh boy what a cluster poop :/

Same problem here, playing on Steam. Typically the game crashes after 30 seconds into the first cutscene after launching the game. Otherwise, if I skip that cutscene, the game crashes during the character creation.

Hello everyone, first of all I feel that this badly translated my English is bad since I speak Spanish and even so it gives me regulation hahaha, I have the same error being a street kid crashed when leaving the bar, I tried to load the game and load from a previous save it keeps crashing when leaving the bar, my graph is a RX 580 8gb Intel Xeon X5650 processor 18 gb of RAM Windows 10 64 bits so I should have no problem running the game in high quality, I have tried to download to minimum the graphics and nothing, I have updated the AMD controls to their most recent version and it continues to happen, I have restarted the PC and the same thing continues to happen, I cannot find a solution.

try to save the game right before the crash (spam f5). Then try Save-load thing

I was able to save the game outside the bar, right before the crash and then load-save thing works for me.

I had the same problem. Fixed it by turning off MSI Afterburner. Disable any overlays if you use any.

Same problem here tried reinstall change settings, first things goes well untill first mission run in city then steam flatline, where are the devs, have been reading dont really seam like any response.

Just to make it clear. You are saving right after leaving (save A)> then game crashing > restart game > load other working save > only then try to load Save A.

I have a Xeon w3690 and 1060ti thats constantly crashing after nomad tutorial. Its a really old CPU (although still well above min specs). The post about old CPUs causing the issue might be on to something.

Edit: Just choosing to steam refund before 2 hrs I'm done with troubleshooting
