Cyberpunk 2077 PC Crash Issues

My PC:
Ryzen 2600
Geforce 1060 6Gb
16Gb DDR4 3200 (OC)
Windows 10 installed on an SSD
Game installed on HDD

On version 1.03 of the game, I configured the game and got an excellent picture for my hardware and 50-60 fps.

And after patch 1.04, the game began to crash every 10-20 minutes.
I installed the latest Nvidia drivers, the latest vcredist, installed all Windows updates, patch the .exe to work without AVX, with AMD, which I just didn’t do, but kept catching crashes (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)).

Now I remembered that I had not checked them for a long time and updated the drivers from the motherboard website: AMD Chipset Driver and at the same time Realtek HD Universal Driver.
I've been playing for 2 hours without crashes. I hope someone will find it helpful.
UPD: Still crashing, only now at different times. Well, we are waiting for the next patch.

Уже 2 часа играю без вылетов. Надеюсь кому-нибудь будет полезно.
UPD: Всё ещё крашится, только теперь в разное время. Что-ж, ждём следующий патч.

My point exactly, they issued a statement where they promise bugfixing and optimization for Old-Gen consoles, which is normal since 99% of the users are unhappy. We pc Users with problems, are a minority. That's why I want refund. Too bad I bought the GOG key from a store and they say "the key has been used"... OF COURSE HAS BEEN USED.

Dunno what to do. 4 days and no cyberpunk and no money and a big BUMMER when I see people with inferior systems playing, enjoing and SPOILING the game, while I am sitting on the sideline. Damage has been done and there is no turning back. I wanted a day-1 experience with no spoilers... now it's really hard to avaid all the sh*t people is putting out on the media.

It's a bad feeling, guys.

so the avx moded fix , worked for 2 days, now getting crashes few mins in the game , in no specific place, limiting fps to like 30 gets like 5mins more to get somewhere and game dies then , not in a cutscene or anything.gg.

the only reference on PC version is at the end, a P.S. about updates, no mention of constant crashing and game not starting at all (as in my case). So my best guess is: their priority is the Old Gen consoles version, which is in a worse state. I don't want to wait anymore, with 70 GB of hard drive used for nothing.

I tried all the solutions posted here, and it's a big hassle for JUST ONE GAME. I spent time to do THEIR job, and I'm tired of being a betatester compromising my hardware and software to start this crippled game. Refund now, and we'll see in the future. I don't see any other viable solution. Also I lost my faith in they finding a solution for pc anytime soon, since there is a WIDE VARIETY of crashes, bugs, freezes... and this makes me think there is not a SINGLE problem with a SINGLE solution. I don't think so.

I can't even get the game started because of graphics driver issue even after troubleshooting.

i KNOW RIGGHT!! Dont just assume that because PC is better, that PC has NO issues. I think at least 60% of PC players are having issues! And of those at least 20% of those cant even launch the game without a flatline.

The focus should be the PC and not the "old Gen Consoles" .The game was originally only planned for the PC anyway.
So I expect that they get the crap under control

I wouldn't expect a hotfix anytime soon.. at least a week before these crash issues might be fixed by the looks of things.

1.04 was completed on December 10th according to the crash logs, 2 days before the game was released.. the latest info says another patch within 7 days but given the PR disaster on console and the language used in the latest update I don't think we are top priority.

I love the game and have remained hopeful over the past few days as I've weathered through 50+ crashes, many hours of troubleshooting, and an endless game of crash error whack a mole, but the final boss of Cyberpunk 2077 has proved impossible to overcome..

everything worked fine (had the issue with avs)

so now i wanted to play again but i cannot even start the game anymore

it flatlines instantly

Every time there is a mission/phone dialogue my game craches. First i hear the voice of the NPC talking. Then only see tekst no voice. Then the game craches. If i relog i can do the dialogue fine. But if i get a other one it craches again. Just to be clear, talking random NPC's in the city don't do anything. Only when i need to talk back it seems.

After solving all my crash issues (not AVX related) I was able to play all day yesterday but today it's been flatline city. Nothing changed at my end, no fixes seem to work this time.. seems to be happening to a few people though I think many have given up at this point!

Same... I've been playing around with it now however and discovered that it has to do with dxd12.dll file. if I remove or replace that file with another version of it it says: "the thread tried to execute an invalid instruction", meaning dxd12.dll doesn't match the expected dll. It's really strange. Are you on windows 10 btw?

EDIT: forgot to mention this might as well also be on devs end as those types of exceptions have to do with how executable is set up in relation to dyn link libraries (dll). Adress varies but the one with 0xED5F70 is definitely tied to dxd12.dll. Other adresses are most likely tied to other dll files in install directory. I guess we can only wait for them to fix this.

At the end of the quest you can help Panam fight Nash and his gang, if you die during the fight you respawn inside Panam during the cutscene. as soon as you get out of the car everything goes back to normal.

RTX 2080TI Core I9 32GB Fast Ram pretty much very very fast PC.

Crashes and reboots my PC about every 15 - 20 minutes of play. So pretty much unplayable at this stage.

I want to try a solution to one of the crashes at certain points in the story for example the Evelyn braindance, im stuck at that in a constant crash loop. Can some kind soul who can play through that quest PLEASE, once finished the quest, RIGHT AFTER IT, please make a manual save and go to the saves in (user here)/Saved Games/CD Projekt Red/Cyberpunk 2077, and please share the save file!!!! I want to try to manually skip the quest and see if it works If that happens, ill provide help to fix other crashes at certain points too!
(i noticed in the metadata that quests have names, if you can technically change that metadata name to the next quest, i wonder if it would work)
