Could try downclocking your GPU \ CPU or memory, worked for me downclocking the GPU (-10%) but more testing ongoing.

Thank you for the suggestion but no dice for me. I even tried setting the fan curve at various levels. Even tried disabling xmp ram profile to bring it down to 2400 mhz.

Honestly, if this is the level of fiddling I need to get the game working, CDPR should be paying me to do my own "tech support". The average player won't even know where to begin with when it comes to such things.

Hey guys, not saying this will work for everyone but it did for me eventually and I was desperate and almost gave up to do something else than play CP77 ;)

Basically I have turned Vsync ON and then I changed the MAX Fps to 10 xD

and miraculously it managed to get me through the cutscene with Johnny at Vs apartment.

Oh and of course I updated my drivers earlier when I encountered the first "mirror cutscenes" crashes.

my rig is at minimum reqs so I am still happy the game worked so far seeing that ppl with rtx and better rigs can't even launch the bloody thing :<

Okay game starts up fine, can make a character and play through the life path section of the game. Not sure it matters but played Nomad when this happened, haven't tried it on any of the others. Basically as soon as the cut scene time skip after the life path end the game crashes, report sent in, but wanted to just wanted to report it here as well.

Restarting the game and starting with a fresh character still got the issue as well as reloading from various saves all ended with the issue.

Two other minor bugs I encountered in the nomad life path, I can't collect the Album at the gas tanks overlooking the small town, and can't interact with the container near the people working out in the town the one with the man squatting in front of it.

Other than that the game ran great even on my system was really enjoying myself.

My drivers are the latest version, so I know that's not the issue.

Also was getting crashes after updating to 1.04 using steam.
Was playing the game for 30hours prior to the patch without any crashes at all, then after updating it constantly crashed directly after starting, not even a loading screen just the error report popped up.

Went to steam, verified local game files, said missing 1 file and downloaded about 7GB again. Afterwards game boots up again.
If you are on steam, try verifying your local game files if you have crashes after updating.
 
I could not launch game I got exactly same issue with latast nvidia drivers.To get game to launch I had to install driver 446.14 wich is months old and now game seems to run ok ,but I would like someone from the dev team to explain why my game would not launch with "game ready " drivers and had to find my own solution to run the game
 
if your on steam and the game keeps crashing and wont open just verify your files on steam and that should fix it it worked for me
1. just on steam go to the game
2.go to properties
3. local files
4. verify integrity of game files

I'll revert to 1.03 and see if that works better, gotta dl the whole game again though *sigh*

I'm on Steam Client, does anyone know how to revert back to 1.03 w/o re-downloading the whole game over? I have updated Drives updated windows decent gaming rig the game ran perfect till this update was applied, any help would be appreciated, thanks!
 
As an addendum to my previous post.

I have accumulated about 40 or so "gpu crash logs" in my user temp folder. They are all the same so I'll just post one of it. Even the game does not know the reason for the GPU crash

Many people bought the game but cannot get pass the tutorial... game crashes right after

feels like we bought a demo copy...

we're super excited but cant play it :( feels like torture tbh

issue is also happing on my AMD video card aswell, cant get pass the tutorial on any character

Use the nexus mod fix, It'll work fine
 
I'm starting to feel like the technical issues are the least of our problems. The city looks good but it's a soulless shell, a mile wide and a inch deep. The AI is worse that terrible, the cops just spawn out of thin air if you kill a homeless guy in a dark alley but don't show up if you have a raging firefight in the streets and heaven forbid to bump into one then your ass is dead. The cars can't change lane something the vehicles in San Andreas could do, there are no mini games, the NCP have zero dialog, barley even acknowledge the player and the gigs are bland and repetitive. This is a worse disappointment than Mass Effect : Andromeda.
 
Had my first freeze. I was driving around and noticed a saving in progress logo at the top of the screen, it would just stay there. I went into setting and tried to drop a setting down and back out with ESC key but ESC key would not respond and I was left in the settings menu. I had to alt tab out and try and load the game again but it was stuck on clouding syncing. Took about 2 minutes before game loaded again.
 
I found a solution for my game not launching issue with the following stack trace:

Short answer:
I enabled AMD's Virtual Super Resolution in the Radeon Software.

My system with the issue:
Windows 10 latest 20H2
i7 6700k
AMD 5700xt red devil
Motherboad Asus Z170 Sabertooth Mk1

My old system upstairs was fine:
Windows 10 latest 20H2
i7 2600k
Nvidea GTX 1070

So before this I tried downgrading the AMD driver and the latest Windows 10 feature pack plus some other patches but it didn't make a difference.
And I noticed this week I had got an issue with DirectX games launching in full screen, the games were launching at a small size in the top left corner of the screen and I was unable to set the games to windowed mode or change resolution. Alt + enter made no difference and DPI settings made no difference.
This is on a 4k tv as well.
In fact Nier Automated was getting a 'No graphics memory' error.
Not sure what caused that bug but after switching Virtual Super Resolution on they were working like normal.

So wierd.
And as a note I was remote desktopping into the downstairs PC with the issue and Cyberpunk would launch, so not a CPU issue.

Hope it helps other people out.

That's right, the game is completely disappointing after 1-2 hours. CDPR has nothing to offer in this setting, no idea what they wanted to do and how it should be. It will look good in a cartoon format without the participation of the player.

im on Windows 7, and still struggle with random crashes (1.04)

1.) The game requires DirectX 12. If you're playing on Windows 7, be sure you have all of the Windows Updates installed. It will not work without the full suite of Win7 DirectX 12 port updates installed.

im trying to find these...

according to this article the lates version for win 7 is DX 11.1

on the other hand there are articles that indicate that DX12 is avaliable for Win7

im confused;

...the webinstaller for DirectX tells me version is the newest and won't install DX12, dxdiag output is DX11

information on what KB's we need would be very usefull

GoG launcher might say 6h playing time but 5 of them must have passed just trying the game to run. I have a fairly stable system - Ryzen 5, RX 5700, 16 GB, game installed on Samsung SSD T7 and yet I can't seem to get this ****show to run for more than 10 minutes at a time.

Nothing changed after 1.04.

Never played a game in this state. Embarassing.

Shame on all the reviewers who awarded the 10s and 9s to this unfinished mess.
