I guess only available in-game when Phantom Liberty will be released, so just need to wait a bit moreI'm no stranger to Twitch drops and have claimed the three possible so far, but they do not show in game yet and it's been a few hours.
So, how exactly do I get this if I own the game on steam? I've already linked my gog to twitch, claimed the drops, tried to link my gog to steam and it didnt work, it says that steam is offline![]()

I purchased 2 Twitch gift subs for one of the participating channels but the rifle did not unlock. On Twitch it says you have to sub to one of them, but the article says buying 2 gift subs is supposed to work.
Simple - it don't work!
I have spend 2 subs by twitch.tv/jessirocks, get my key, insert it and I get a confermation. But I don't get the Sniper and all my accounts are connected. I have the game in Steam by the way.
Just tried it and it didn't work sadly

To be honest, I didn't watch the stream anyway. Like you, I didn't want to see spoilers... So I opened the stream on a tab, muted the sound and let it in background for an hour. Drops aquired, no spoiler, it's all goodAlso, about the drops I could receive by watching at least 1 hour of streaming put me in the position of risking encountering spoilers, which I want to avoid. I think I'll just pass.
Yeah it's probably what I'll end up doing. To be honest, I didn't watch the stream anyway. Like you, I didn't want to see spoilers... So I opened the stream on a tab, muted the sound and let it in background for an hour. Drops aquired, no spoiler, it's all good![]()
Yes, Ashendafiremyst. Sorry, was mad and needed to blow off steam.your name ashenda on twitch? I'll follow and watch if I find you
No. Usually any streamer can activate drops. It's not a dumb question, unless you're a streamer, it's not like you'd know. This might be a dumb question, and if it is blame it on today being my first time on Twitch, but isn't it always that way?
I might have run into a weird bug.
I got the helmet but the progress bar for the pants just won't
A streamer has to have their accounts set up w/ the company (not the way CDPR did it mind you), it's usually a log in linking twitch and your account. Drops on a stream has a short term gain on a stream - it brings new viewers who may not have seen you before. It's that "ooh" moment. That one or two streams maybe all it takes to get a new viewer.Eh, I don't know... I thought that stuff was normally setup where you watch/sub to any streamer. It's a different animal if it's for specific streams to get specific drops. Connecting those dots is both amusing and unsettling.
I don't tend to participate in these twitch drops and whatnot though. Watching a streamer should be for the entertainment the content provides. Maybe get a different perspective on a game. Watching just to get drops always struck me as kind of... rude. Despite the potential benefits for the streamer.
