Absolutely, that is indeed part of the vision of the dark future, the grubbiness and the grittiness mixed with the glamour and the glitz..... But looking at the wider points outside of the game and the cyberpunk 2020 lore, you can be certain that some media outlets will try and push some kind of 'will someone think of the children' rage at some point.
