So, looking around for news - it appears that it has been nearly a year since any news about this game has been released. Is that true? Am I missing something? Are they still working on it?

Very much so.
CDPR is not in the habit of releasing much info about their games other then that they exist until shortly before launch.
No doubt saves them a TON of money by not wasting it on "hype" advertising.

News says that they're thinking of an Oct. 2015 release.
I want them to take all the time they need, cause you can always tell when they rush.

I think that was before TW3 got put back to 2015. I don't think they'll release both in the same year.

Half-truths. As far as it concerns TW3, it's fairly accurate, but the info regarding CP77 release dates didn't come from any authorised source. CDPR have never given a release date, even one as vague as "Fall 2015". The "rumours" they quote are probably people making wild guesses in these and other forums.

I think it's probably fair to say that a Korean celebrity website isn't a good source of reliable information about such things.

Semantics (LOL) It's A date whether or not it's real... or from a Korean celebrity site. It's the first thing that I've seen that has given me some hope that I will see it in 2015.
Take it or leave it.
I will say that it would be nice to see a new teaser. I mean except for a small set of die-hard's Cyberpunk 2077 is barely mentioned ever.
