CYBERPUNK 2077: ULTIMATE EDITION ARRIVES ON DECEMBER 5TH!

Personally don't get the woke comments, as Valerie being on the front cover has nothing to do with wokeness when a vast majority of players simply love the character and praise the performance.

Cherami Leigh is an incredibly talented actress with a very rich vocal and emotional range, so for a vast majority of people she is THE VOICE of the game for which she even received the prestigious BAFTA nomination.

Vincent was on the cover during release, the only V that got an actual cinematic trailer ever and even has a statue as a part of the collector's edition, whereas Valerie never received either of the two. She eventually got on the cover and stayed there for a long time now to promote the game.

The spot is legitimately well deserved in my opinion and it would be silly of CDPR not to use the more universally praised protagonist to promote the game, especially when people love the character.
Basically this. Not everything is political. Sometimes changes just acknowledge the reality of what turned out to be the most popular choice.

As far as buying it, I assume that the ultimate edition isn't targeted at most of us who already own the game plus DLC. It's targeted at new owners. That being said, I purchased two GOTY, or Ultimate, or whatever it was called, versions of TW3 even after owning all of it for console. I first purchased the Steam version because I wanted to try playing with mods, and didn't have a GOG account at the time. Then I purchased the GOG version to support the company. Not sure if I'll do that with CP2077, but I might, and some people definitely will.

I really like the cover art:

You can get the wallpaper on the main website here:

Incidentally, I just noticed there's a bunch of really cool wallpapers in the style of various famous artists:

My favourite one (Hopper):

For the same reason some people bought The Witcher 3 GOTY edition... (the same for most of GOTY/Special/Legendary/Whatever edition for games). About the witcher, I already had the base game, both expansions and all free DLCs, so no need to buy the same content again. So the same for Cyberpunk, I already have everything which is included "ultimate edition", no need to purchase the same content.
so Cyberpunk Ultimate edition is the same as the bundle edition and the price is the same $60

Yep, exactly :)
Not sure how it's different. But I guess in the stores, the "Ultimate edition" count as a single game which include everything while the bundle is a pack of game+expansion (beside I guess stores will remove the bundle when the "ultimate edition" will be released)

Edit : The bundle is now on sale on steam, so at 55,18€ instead of 89,98€ (79.99€ on GOG). The ultimate edition should be around this price too I guess, except if CDPR decide to lower the price or if it's on sale too.

I'm still waiting for new patches that stabilize the game and correct the existing bugs to start my second game and then the expansion (I wanted to start on December 10). I did a clean installation of 2.02, no mods and no old saves and I saw cars flying, uncontrolled police killing civilians, cars stuck on the ground, cars stacked on top of each other in the middle of the road, npcs that disappear in front of you, cars that appear in front of you on the highway, npcs bathed in metal. And I didn't want to continue because I don't want to live the last experience this way. CDPR has to keep testing and fixing Cyberpunk 2077, I don't want a box with a game that has bugs and is unstable. Give us a triple A game before closing the door forever. Please improve the quality of the game.

You have made a wonderful game, you have already added new content, new features, important improvements and a great expansion. It's time to set the last big goal: to kill all the errors that are still in the game.

Hopefully there's gonna be more bug fixing cause the game surely hasn't been completely polished, there are still weird things happening and glitches of all kinds. I'm done reporting bugs. In all these years of waiting I have gradually lowered my expectations. I don't think there's much left to do, maybe project orion will allow them to better achieve what they initially envisioned for Night City.

I agree that the Red Engine has been a challenge from the beginning for Cyberpunk 2077 but everything that the engine generates on the screen has already been achieved, now we have to analyze the lines of code and scripts that do not do their job well, know why and correct it without introducing new errors. Test, discover the culprit and improve that specific code. And continue doing so on the main errors that prevent missions from being completed and the secondary errors that break immersion. Unreal Engine is certainly a liberation for developers.

I'd honestly prefer news about a New Game+. That will prevent me from buying any ultimate edition because I just don't want to have to level up my character every time I feel like starting a new playthrough.

Can we get some steelbook cases? I mean if this is everything all wrapped up, wouldn't you want to send it off with a bang?

I have a question; When playing the main game can I level up without ruining Judy’s quest. Like can I level up before calling her after the heist?
I pry myself in being op.
Also, How can I choose Star ending while playing PL? Any advice id be greatful, Truly.

Not sure what do you mean by "ruining Judy's quest" :(
You talk about "Automatic Love" or "Both Side Now"? In both cases, your level doesn't really matter, so you can call her as high level as you want I guess.

You can still go for the star ending whatever you decided in Phantom Liberty ;)

I don't think so (Don't remember to see it), but it's an artwork, so... :)

Yikes. I meant by leveling up on on free roam time I was afraid I would ruin a chance to pursue Judy’s first quest. This is shockingly new to me. I was making sure nothing is missed while I level up. Must get some net-runner toys first.
thank you for the heads up:)

I laready have the main game and phantom liberty, havent actually even started [phantom liberty yet as Im going through a bit of a backlog at the moment but Im definitely getting the ultimate edition physical copy for the xSx. Might get it for PS5 aswell , not sure.

There are time-sensitive quests (not many, though), but calling Judy after the beginning of Act II isn't one of them. From what I could tell, if a quest isn't time sensitive, you can do as many other things as you want (you can max out your level and gears before even doing any main quests in Act II)

The ones I know of are Both Sides, Now and most of the Panam/Nomad side quests (as in, not the main quests with them, after those).

lol never mind will give up and just finish the game
