Completely in love with the game after 12 or so hours spent with it (even though managing inventory is soul-crushing and first thing I'd like to see reworked in the future). Visuals, characters, dialogue, quest design, shooting and driving are exactly what I expected to see. Music is even better - didn't like almost none of it when I was listening to it outside of the game, but while playing it, feels like a perfect fit. In other words - atmosphere is astoundingly great. Enemies are bullet-spongey, but not to some ridiculous degree.
On the technical side of things: no major bugs, only the sound effects failing to play at times (while shooting or crashing the car into the wall) or having flickering shadows inside Judy's room. No fps drops to report and not a single crash so far (on Win10 at least, game was unplayable for some reason on Win7).
Feeling sorry for those whose experience is mired in bugs, glitches and other issues, but my first impressions are overwhelmingly positive.

OFCOURSE and it is a middle finger when they come out and state that the game works SURPRISINGLY WELL on PS4 and XBONE... its like... the epitome of middle finger...

Point is they do not respect the people who are the biggest reason why Cyberpunk exists... yes those W3 ps4/xbone sales are eclipsing the income that came from PC users.

So these users deserve respect. They deserve to be treated with decency and not to deceive them. But PS4/xbone have huge install base and that is more easy money for CDPR...

Hell they dont even care for PS5 owners, who upgraded their consoles to get the most out of CDPR... all they got is a "we will give you a patch sometime... somewhere... have fun waiting some more..."

Why are you here replying to people who have valid issues with the game. They said you would be surprised with ho well it would run on older consoles. I don't think they were just trolling that comment. And I am surprised at just how bad it is. If your happy with the quality of what ever version you are playing my advise is go and play it and have fun and leave your comments and retorts to someone who actually cares. [...]

Please keep in mind that rule #1 of this forum is kindness and respect. Which means that if you're only going to provoke/ridicule other people, you may want to refrain from posting. Openly insulting others is absolutely not acceptable.

People are allowed to express their opinions, whether positive or negative, without being attacked for it.

They rushed an unplayable mess and charged people a lot of money for it. It shouldn't have been released. It's dishonest to say it's ready and release it in it's current form, and also baffling how bad it is. PS4 games like Ghosts of Tsushima or God of War, look a 1000 times better than this. Proving it's not more power you need, it's better developers.

Ambitious, but Cyberpunk 2077 a complete failure in its current form. I'm so disappointed after waiting so long for this. I wish I could get my money back, and maybe buy it again when it's actually ready.

It's buggy as hell.

Found some major bug on the "Heroes" mission:
The bike is blocking the secret door from the garage. If you enter that room you will never get out without having to load a previous saving and kinda abandon in searching for that room. It seems this happens if you chose to leave Jackie in the car.

Another one:
Kabuki fight to defeat twins:
If you go in that corner you block one of the twins in the textures making this fight pretty easy even on the hardest difficulty :) Nice one!

This game is an absolut mess! I feel cheated with my console version. The grafic is on the level of a PS3. Everything is blurry, every 30min the game crashes. I deleted the game and hopefully I can sell this on an auction platform.

Here is my opinion on the matter.
CDPR was more than happy to postpone the game and finish polishing it, but people being people pressurized the company into releasing the unfinished game.
Now everyone is whining about unfinished buggy game, this is what you all asked for!
Now stop whining.
No. CDPR were not happy to postpone the game. It seems they understood close to original release date that it was absolutely unplayable and had no other choice but to postpone. Now that it is more or less playable, they released it.

As for the people, nobody asked for an unfinished and buggy game. Based on hype and promises people expected at least The Witcher level game. So it is not surprising people feel disappointed and betrayed.

I was not impressed with the gameplay videos posted prior to release and had a feeling the game was raw. Unfortunately, it seems to be the case.

It looks like CDPR took a page out of Ubisoft's map design. The map is a diarrhea of map icons, not to mention that most of the side activities are painfully generic. There are three varietions of "go there and kill goons".

Speaking of side activities.....even though I'm not the biggest Witcher 3 fan I always appreciated the side quests and I was expecting the same quality in 2077.Yet here I am faced with quests requesting me to collect 20 tarot cards or to hunt down 7 taxis all over NC and quite simply I don't care enough to put myself through all this.I hope to God those quests aren't essential to get the best ending.

It seems the depth and complexity of their world wasn't quite as deep as they claimed. And not just sidequests, lack of interactivity with the city, food vendors other npcs etc etc

Ok so let me be polite in summarizing what many people said here :
The game is really below many people's expectations and after all the online super-hypes and promises I understand why many people are not polite right now. The Witcher I had NO mega-ads before release, NO superstars like Keanu and no claims about being so cool BUT IT WAS VERY COOL AND WELL POLISHED, and I do not talk about bugs and technical issues.
Once again : Im not spilling hate over Cyber, I m still playing it and I see what might be nice about it as an RPG, BUT it did not deliver in my view at least.

You're lucky, now there are thousands of barely used PS4 copies of Cyberpunk at half the price on ebay!
If you wait 6 more months – or even after Christmas –, you'll certainly get it for 15$!
Are you sure about getting a PS5? Because it certainly will be on the gamepass very soon.

I think this game is meant for a next gen consoles and well equipped PCs. If I am to enjoy this game I want to do it right.

Honestly, if I were to ever hand a project to my boss in the state this game is in, I'd lose my job. I've never seen a more embarrassing launch. I'm 30+ hours in with the game crashing to xbox home once per hour. There's graphical bugs, gameplay mechanic issues, audio problems, and basic things that this genre has done for a long time that aren't here. Two of my friends have given up playing this, hoping that updates fix it in the near future. This should have been delayed another year, or you should have eaten the shit and dropped support for last gen consoles. I'm amazed that you've been developing for them this entire time and the game is still in this state. This is by far the most unpolished game I've ever played.

Which is funny because it was never intended on being a next gen title until two delays later. Last gen was literally their target hardware and what the majority of the game was built around. It's embarrassing how bad they did

This game is WAY better than Deus Ex. Assassins Creed Valhalla was plagued with bugs on launch and Red Dead was monotonous because of it's slow pacing. If you're looking for a problem, you'll definitely find one no matter how good the game is but I can understand if it's a case where it's just not the game for you.

In what way is this game better in its current state than Deus Ex? Vahalla was NOT "plagued with bugs", I played it from day one. Sure it had a few issues (normal amount, not the apocalypse of problems Cyberpunk has). Even so, it wasn't "plagued" with 1/10 the bugs and glitches of Cyberpunk and it lookes 10 times better! Read Dead 2 is what you make it. I could make Cyberpunk "slow and monotonous" if I wanted to. Regardless, my point still stands: BOTH games launched better, look FAR better, and play better. Cyberpunk, in its current state, is an ugly mess.
