OFCOURSE and it is a middle finger when they come out and state that the game works SURPRISINGLY WELL on PS4 and XBONE... its like... the epitome of middle finger...I wouldn't describe it as a middlefinger... It was already stated that it will be a worse experience on the current gen consoles. They are displeased with the gaming experience on those as well. So no, no middlefinger
Why are you here replying to people who have valid issues with the game. They said you would be surprised with ho well it would run on older consoles. I don't think they were just trolling that comment. And I am surprised at just how bad it is. If your happy with the quality of what ever version you are playing my advise is go and play it and have fun and leave your comments and retorts to someone who actually cares. [...]Why are people so displeased with CDPR regarding that, even though it was clear from the get go that it will perform in such a way? I just can't get behind it...

Point is they do not respect the people who are the biggest reason why Cyberpunk exists... yes those W3 ps4/xbone sales are eclipsing the income that came from PC users.
So these users deserve respect. They deserve to be treated with decency and not to deceive them. But PS4/xbone have huge install base and that is more easy money for CDPR...
Hell they dont even care for PS5 owners, who upgraded their consoles to get the most out of CDPR... all they got is a "we will give you a patch sometime... somewhere... have fun waiting some more..."
Ach I see my fault in that. Sry.Why are you here replying to people who have valid issues with the game. They said you would be surprised with ho well it would run on older consoles. They rushed an unplayable mess and charged people a lot of money for it. It shouldn't have been released. It's dishonest to say it's ready and release it in it's current form, and also baffling how bad it is. PS4 games like Ghosts of Tsushima or God of War, look a 1000 times better than this. Proving it's not more power you need, it's better developers.I wouldn't describe it as a middlefinger... It was already stated that it will be a worse experience on the current gen consoles. Yeah I see that. my fault for being dumb beforehand ,They rushed an unplayable mess and charged people a lot of money for it. It shouldn't have been released. Ambitious, but Cyberpunk 2077 a complete failure in its current form. I'm so disappointed after waiting so long for this. I wish I could get my money back, and maybe buy it again when it's actually ready.
No. CDPR were not happy to postpone the game. It seems they understood close to original release date that it was absolutely unplayable and had no other choice but to postpone. Now that it is more or less playable, they released it.Here is my opinion on the matter.
CDPR was more than happy to postpone the game and finish polishing it, but people being people pressurized the company into releasing the unfinished game.
Now everyone is whining about unfinished buggy game, this is what you all asked for!
Now stop whining.
It seems the depth and complexity of their world wasn't quite as deep as they claimed. And not just sidequests, lack of interactivity with the city, food vendors other npcs etc etcIt looks like CDPR took a page out of Ubisoft's map design. The map is a diarrhea of map icons, not to mention that most of the side activities are painfully generic. There are three varietions of "go there and kill goons".
Speaking of side activities.....even though I'm not the biggest Witcher 3 fan I always appreciated the side quests and I was expecting the same quality in 2077.Yet here I am faced with quests requesting me to collect 20 tarot cards or to hunt down 7 taxis all over NC and quite simply I don't care enough to put myself through all this.I hope to God those quests aren't essential to get the best ending.
Ok so let me be polite in summarizing what many people said here :That is enough with the personal arguments and rudeness. Be polite or do not post. Several posts deleted.
You're lucky, now there are thousands of barely used PS4 copies of Cyberpunk at half the price on ebay!I am soo looking forward to playing this game. It may have bugs but this is CD Projekt Red we are talking about not effing BethesdaThis guys will deliver, polish this game and provide DLC for years to come. As soon as I can can afford buying PS5 I am buying Cyberpunk 2077 as well. Wish you all the best, have fun, stay safe !
I think this game is meant for a next gen consoles and well equipped PCs. If I am to enjoy this game I want to do it right. You're lucky, now there are thousands of barely used PS4 copies of Cyberpunk at half the price on ebay!
If you wait 6 more months – or even after Christmas –, you'll certainly get it for 15$!
Are you sure about getting a PS5? Because it certainly will be on the gamepass very soon.
Which is funny because it was never intended on being a next gen title until two delays later. Last gen was literally their target hardware and what the majority of the game was built around. It's embarrassing how bad they didI think this game is meant for a next gen consoles and well equipped PCs. If I am to enjoy this game I want to do it right.
In what way is this game better in its current state than Deus Ex? Vahalla was NOT "plagued with bugs", I played it from day one. Sure it had a few issues (normal amount, not the apocalypse of problems Cyberpunk has). Even so, it wasn't "plagued" with 1/10 the bugs and glitches of Cyberpunk and it lookes 10 times better! Read Dead 2 is what you make it. I could make Cyberpunk "slow and monotonous" if I wanted to. Regardless, my point still stands: BOTH games launched better, look FAR better, and play better. Cyberpunk, in its current state, is an ugly mess. This game is WAY better than Deus Ex. Assassins Creed Valhalla was plagued with bugs on launch and Red Dead was monotonous because of it's slow pacing. If you're looking for a problem, you'll definitely find one no matter how good the game is but I can understand if it's a case where it's just not the game for you.
