Hello

I just noticed this forum post while looking for a place to give my review of Phantom Liberty. I would say overall that some of the things they did was interesting but overall I felt it was a dissapointment. I will try to summarize
- I understand that life in general doesn't always have happy endings but it seemed to me, no matter what choice you made, you always ended up with a crappy ending
- The game had ghosting and pathing issues. There was 2 missions in which my character got stuck in the flooring. Took me awhile to realize it was because of the cables running along the floor. It was the cause of the uneven terrain connection. Avoided those, problem solved on that end of things. Then I noticed there was times I switched keys really fast and the game didn't respond
I have a Hyper X gaming keyboard and I ran software tests. So I know the ghosting was not on my end. The game clearly was unable to keep up with my rapid key changes. Once I detected that as well, I worked around it by giving the game more of a window to respond. That fixed it yes but I shouldn't of had to do things that way. This kind of issue is something I would expect in a beta test. Not a 120 + million development cost game
- I was a Tech weapon build pre 2.0. I decided to do it again and found the changes to be annoying. It wasn't just the fact they turned it in to a time game, it was also because it was inconsitent. There was times that my Burya would penetrate a wall while the Nekomata wouldn't. I had Legendary C-Thru mods on both so I think it is a base gun issue
- The game clearly wasn't tested in Very Hard mode. About the only thing scaling properly were grenades. Enemies were never fair.. Infinite block, infinite dodge.. No cooldown, no stamina costs, etc. If you put a hard difficulty in to a game, it is suppose to be a challenge to a point where you have to use tactics or wits to defeat the enemy. That wasn't present here. Enemies were just in your face all the time, and could take hits to the face as if they were a Main Battle Tank. I will be sure to post more in depth in Gameplay soon
- Certain new cyberware didn't make sense like the Iconic Para Bellum I think it was? It was the one with +32% armor or something. No base armor on it so there wasn't much of a return in the investment. Math wise, it was better to go with other Cyberware
- I think I will end the reply on that there was a lot that could of been done better. I appreciate the attempt to do things differently. Most game studios would rather abandon a game or not give it a good try. CP certainly tried and I can see that
