As long as long as the openness isn't merely about exploring props and random-for-the-sake-of-busywork activities, but also poses a reactive element regarding where you go and what you do there, that exploration holds a meaning and a possible consequence.1- Make it as large as possible in terms of openness. even if it is not a 100% open world game, a large zone and cities to explore is sure to look cool =) (PS it will probably be the best game out there if it is an open world lol).
Indeed.2- Give it a lot of choices for the player character to make and ones that matter too, every RPG fan loves that.
There will be a character creation and customization from what I can remember of the early interviews, so that shouldn't be something to worry about. I didn't much care for Skyrim character creation since it was only about the looks of the PC (which didn't matter anywhere), but I don't have a preference for that either way, the character can be visually modified or not is all the same for me. My hope is that character creation (and also the further cusomization) also provides choices that have a profound effect on the gameplay and how the narrative may be approached, consequences that I have to live with.3- I hope there will be a character creation, and if there is please make it have a good number of customization it will be very awesome. example of a good character creation is skyrim (only when modded), example of bad character creation is destiny.
4- Customization please! just imagine how it would feel to customize your character with different weapons, gears and true to the cyber sci-fi world costumizing our cybernetics
Yes.5- Cool soundtracks are also welcome, it really help flesh out the game.
As long as it isn't just a glorified loot box / wardrobe. I'd hope, that if there is a "player home", that it would serve an evolving and meaningful gameplay purpose alongside with being said loot box.6- Maybe add a player home/base where we can customize our stuff and maybe interact with few things.
I object in-party love stories ala Bioware and their party of juvenile and pandering "fuck toys". They are distracting, childish and often hamfisted and underdeveloped because they are not at the center of the narrative but optional. That said, I don't object to building camaraderie, even deep one (and better, if it is deep and multifaceted) as long as it doesn't evolve into a forced and cheesy egostroking lovestory.7- Add companions please!. i think that will also be a cool feature to have, especially when you have a good 6 or more companions to pick from.
8- Relationships. especially between you and your companions. just imagine what a cool story it would be to be able to see the story of two half machines bond with each other and become friend and perhaps love each other. to have their human side shine from their mostly metal bodies, i think it will be very nice to have that in the game.
Agreed. Deep, multifaceted and branching story with reactivity and player agency is something every self respecting RPG should have one way or the other.9- Awesome story! that is one of the important aspects of an RPG game but i am sure you guys will do very good with that =).
Agreed.10- And finally, take your time CD PROJEKT RED! i am sure all of us have all the paitence and support in the world for you. We want all of these things to happen for CP77 but we know that it's very hard to make and very demanding, and we really appreciate that. so take your time with it guys and you have our support =).
No rush -- and linked to that, I'd suggest trying out things that are not too commonplace, trying to push the genre a bit forward with elements in todays rather stagnant mainstream RPG market.
