1- Make it as large as possible in terms of openness. even if it is not a 100% open world game, a large zone and cities to explore is sure to look cool =) (PS it will probably be the best game out there if it is an open world lol).
As long as long as the openness isn't merely about exploring props and random-for-the-sake-of-busywork activities, but also poses a reactive element regarding where you go and what you do there, that exploration holds a meaning and a possible consequence.

2- Give it a lot of choices for the player character to make and ones that matter too, every RPG fan loves that.
Indeed.

3- I hope there will be a character creation, and if there is please make it have a good number of customization it will be very awesome. example of a good character creation is skyrim (only when modded), example of bad character creation is destiny.

4- Customization please! just imagine how it would feel to customize your character with different weapons, gears and true to the cyber sci-fi world costumizing our cybernetics
There will be a character creation and customization from what I can remember of the early interviews, so that shouldn't be something to worry about. I didn't much care for Skyrim character creation since it was only about the looks of the PC (which didn't matter anywhere), but I don't have a preference for that either way, the character can be visually modified or not is all the same for me. My hope is that character creation (and also the further cusomization) also provides choices that have a profound effect on the gameplay and how the narrative may be approached, consequences that I have to live with.

5- Cool soundtracks are also welcome, it really help flesh out the game.
Yes.

6- Maybe add a player home/base where we can customize our stuff and maybe interact with few things.
As long as it isn't just a glorified loot box / wardrobe. I'd hope, that if there is a "player home", that it would serve an evolving and meaningful gameplay purpose alongside with being said loot box.

7- Add companions please!. i think that will also be a cool feature to have, especially when you have a good 6 or more companions to pick from.

8- Relationships. especially between you and your companions. just imagine what a cool story it would be to be able to see the story of two half machines bond with each other and become friend and perhaps love each other. to have their human side shine from their mostly metal bodies, i think it will be very nice to have that in the game.
I object in-party love stories ala Bioware and their party of juvenile and pandering "fuck toys". They are distracting, childish and often hamfisted and underdeveloped because they are not at the center of the narrative but optional. That said, I don't object to building camaraderie, even deep one (and better, if it is deep and multifaceted) as long as it doesn't evolve into a forced and cheesy egostroking lovestory.

9- Awesome story! that is one of the important aspects of an RPG game but i am sure you guys will do very good with that =).
Agreed. Deep, multifaceted and branching story with reactivity and player agency is something every self respecting RPG should have one way or the other.

10- And finally, take your time CD PROJEKT RED! i am sure all of us have all the paitence and support in the world for you. We want all of these things to happen for CP77 but we know that it's very hard to make and very demanding, and we really appreciate that. so take your time with it guys and you have our support =).
Agreed.

No rush -- and linked to that, I'd suggest trying out things that are not too commonplace, trying to push the genre a bit forward with elements in todays rather stagnant mainstream RPG market.

You mean that RPG's should have CYOA books, or that CYOA books should have branching narratives?

Ever play Planescape: Torment?
The companion interaction was (for the time) phenomenal.

A couple of times, and yes it was (I would say it still is even by comparison to newer games).

1 Nice graphics is important to a game important to players as well. Don't let players feel it different playing the game after watching the stunting CG, right? At least a Cry engine 3 or Frostbite 3 level of graphics are within expectations! Detailed textures and dynamic light environments are essentials.

2 A big open world and various transportation methods is something to build up the environment. A world in 2077 would have really various vehicles to make it fit into the time and it's not only ground vehicles. Air borne vehicles, helicopters, sub marines, cruise ships, amphibious vehicles, jets, sky tunnel transfer shuttles among skyscrapers on floor 99, and even a large spaceship that let players fast rope down to the penthouse of a skyscraper or deploy troops on roof at midnight will definitely add up the points!

3 Prepare the answers. Because in RPG, players want everything explained. And it's not just about why I'm fighting for who, it's about where to buy my favorite tuxedo and what to say so that I can get a discount on it;it's about why the drink I got from the bar made me poisoned and how I end up awake in this hospital ; it's about how and who stole my money from my highly secured living space an how to get it back; it's about how to plant a bomb in the sewage systems so that the police station smells like shit for a day; it's about how I lost an arm in battlefield and where I found a mechanical arm for replacement with built-in GPS; It's about how to triger an avalanche to cause massive destructions to my enemies and they don't even know who I am. In a compete story there is no good side there is no evil side, but there is the conflict and there's the decision players made about who to trust, who to live for and who to fight for.

4.Talking about game mode in multiplayer, what would be better than putting Coop and PvP together in one world? Robots vs Humans? Or maybe a 3rd faction may get involved? How about going MMORPG? This will be awesome!

5. I believe everyone wants to find out what that girl (or weapon?) in CG looks like without her clothes on in game? And there got to be answers why she's bulletproof and who manufactured her right?

Not a chance for an MMO. Though I can see both Coop and PvP, PvP being a VR sim at the cities' arcades or the player's home.

Maybe amend that to "Not a chance for an MMO from CDPR".
And since Mike really doesn't want his baby turned into a shooter probably little to no chance for an MMO period because I've yet to see an MMO that wasn't focused on killing stuff or each other.

Well, Second Life, I think, isn't about teh murderz.

EVE Online I've heard is about mining and exploration as much or more than combat.

Anyway, no chance on an MMO from CDPR, they've made that pretty clear.

Yes. Second Life is now largely about weird sexual fetishes.

Please DO NOT make this game for consoles. Or do not create the game with consoles in mind like the Witcher series since part 2. It really degrades the quality of the game in terms of gameplay and UI.

You can certainly port over to consoles later but do a real PC version first.

Minimalistic HUD.
No crosshair.
No minimap.
No markers.
No compass.
No autotraveling.
No indicators and enemy hp etc.
More hardcore and challenge.

Unfortunately it's not that easy. If you plan a console version of a game, or even a later port to console, that will be worth playing you need to make certain design decisions with consoles in mind during the development process.

Hi,

First off, thanks for creating the Witcher series... It is no doubt a remarkable achievement... At a time when we have developers of some brilliant games looking to the past and feeding on nostalgia, you have taken the more difficult route of taking rpgs into a new era... And for that I thank you... The Witcher was one of my finest gaming experiences...

I would like to recommend a few things...

1. Side quests should be relevant : I personally wouldn't mind simple fetch quests or even clear the basement quests so long as they have been tailored to feel natural to the protagonist's job description... :)

2. One thing I liked about Wasteland 2 was, they added this feature of certain missions having time limitations... Events were unfolding in their own time and sometimes in parallel... It was our decision whether we wanted to be a part of them and we were limited by our ability to be at one place at a time...

3. Another thing I liked about the Wasteland 2 was, they had added time delayed consequences for seemingly trivial choices... As in there were a few events that occurred which I didn't really care much about... My indifference led eventually to my inability to influence events that I did care about... As I eventually found out that a lot of seemingly disparate events were tied together...

1.I think rather than a bunch of weapons as in 160 different style Pistol's, and 170 different style Rifles, Not to say there should not be a lot of different weapons, but rather that those weapons be upgradable more so than changing them out would to me seem better, I do mean that they Up grade so much as to actually take on a different look in inventory, and externally.

Barrel modifications, Clip modifications, stock, pistol grip, trigger, sight, scope, laser sight, and so on.

2. I would think if maintains and adult base that all manner of money making be made possible from the oldest profession "Begging" where someone asked for it to the second oldest Profession where some one sold it.

3. The drug's were always a biggy in the original pen & pencil, and I would think they will still be needed, not only the ones to allow modifications to not be rejected from the body, but up linked fantasy escape, and mental addictions as well.

The Rejection of modifications could also be a problem not all people have, or that could be fixed permanently for the right price.

4. I think most all differences or missions should take into consideration that they do not have to be solved with violence, and should nearly always have options for non violent solutions as the pen & pencil most normally allowed this.

This including options for stealth, bribing, secret entrances, and so on.

Talking about preferences of weapons, I myself prefer to TRY weapons and see if they feel right for me than comparing stats. I'm especially lazy when it comes to figuring out if a speed rating in a game is higher when it takes more time to get the next attack or if it means it's more fast. Also, don't make "useless" weapons. Even low end weapons should feel like they have their place.

There are some many things that are needed to make the perfect Cyberpunk game and I do not envy your task, although I know you are up to it.

Firstly, detail in the world. Night City (or wherever it may be set) needs to feel like an actual city. With a history, a culture and a vibrancy. With Cyberpunk, more than most genres, the setting is a character in itself. The devil is in the detail.

Following on from this. The city needs to feel like it's alive when you're not there. It needs to feel as though the setting and those in it couldn't care less if you lived or died and life would go on as normal with or without you.

Understandably one of the hardest aspects to achieve would be flexibility in letting the player be whoever they want to be. Whether that be Nomad, Cop, Rocker, Media, Corp, Solo, Netrunner or Fixer, the scenarios and ways each would approach a situation are so varied that the scope in how you allow players to play are essential. I'm struggling to see how you can do this without having multiple story arcs and mission types that are tailored to each player variant

Could you please get Infinity Shred to do the soundtrack to the game. They would be absolutely amazing if you got them to do it.
