the Field of View is very important, please make the fov of cp2077 like the fov from mass effect, the character close to the screen/player, not the character tiny and far away from the screen, please, it's very important, or maybe different camera options to choose :)

Better itemization: Take TW3 itemization and put it in the garbage. No level requirements, no level scaling. No random loot.
Quest design: It should based more on the social stats checks and on the player skills, and not on quest markers or other hand-holding features.

Agreed.

Although. No level requirements -- Indeed. But, soft skill requirements instead (meaning that if you lack the skill, the gun/item/vehicle/etc is simply used in a substandard manner by the character (distorted controls) - scaling a bit towards better as you close up to the requirement, but tangibly proper use only when you've reached it).

Hi Iam new to the forums but kept my eyes on this game since the first trailer was released.

I skim through the pages and many great ideas what your dream rpg is all about has already been posted and has been said.

For me personally is the setting and story graphic is cool and with todays graphic we can do worlds and npc more alive but
setting and story has always been nr one for me and how you can affect it,that is my dream rpg.

I guess many played Deus Ex series and it too had a neat dystopian world.

The latest game Human Revolution was cool gameplaywise and storywise.
However before the Dir Cut arrived gameplay offered player their chooise of a certain gameplay then you where forced to step away from the path you chosen as the game restricted you. Most is probably fixed in upcoming game Mankind Divided but should be taken in consideration nontheless.

So chooises is also a important factor for me and they are consistent and matters ,but we are talking about the who gave us Witcher series so I know they can make that part.

Setting wise many probably seen Bladerunner movie and Westwood old point and click adventure of the same game or played old classical Syndicate and Shadowrun that is Cyberpunk for me.

A dark world, which I also hope leave room to alot of exploration.

Take Silent Hill that world is scary while one fought and battled diffrent kind of monster etc it left room for exploration.

I hope Cyberpunk with it rumored open world style let us explore the Night City which I also hope is a living world.

As an example Skyrim and Deadly Premoniton game especially the later one had a living breathing town where npc was out doing their own stuff during the day/night and certain stores was not open certain time of the day and intereacted with each other etc.

I also hope its not become too action oriented, action cool but we talk about a RPG here,I dont want this game to turn into a Resident Evil 4 where we go in with full arsenal and do some combo moves.

I want our character while I guess the offfer of diffrent equipment and gear is there for us that we cant carry alot.

Say 2-3 weapons but as this is Cyberpunk I guess these weapons is modified in such way that they can change style anyway think Judge Dredd Pistols.
Plus with maybe implants that would probably make us too a walking weapon anyway so we would not need to carry 5-8 weapons.

Customization is a bonus it would probably add alot to the world itself if player can create whatever character they so desire and not only to the model but maybe cothing and gear aswell,so we wont see player run around with same gear and clothing like 10 other players(if we talk about possible multiplayer/online function aswell?)

Mature game, but that has already been stated by game developer this wont be a game for everyone. I ready for a dark interesting story/world here.

Hopefully they have some rough treatments for an extensive story that extends beyond one game, potentially into a cohesive trilogy. It's always cool when writers have long term arcs that only fully reveal themselves down the line. Maybe CP2077 could be the next epic saga like Mass Effect. As good as ME was, the writers admit they were making a lot of stuff up as they went along, which is probably the norm.

I'm not sure if someone mentioned that before, but I think it would be nice to have an opportunity to explore a cyberspace during the game and set some action in it. For example, if you 're a hacker and/or have no abilities to fight your opponent using the strenght of your muscles, you may want to beat his avatar in the matrix. What is more, some oponents may be AI programs, and you simply couldn't harm them in a real world. We're talking about cyberpunk, aren't we? And imo, there is no cyberpunk without cyberspace/matrix, so the whole idea might be worth considering. What do you think guys?

Ok, best of both worlds, offer the the player the option to complete and end the session after the 'final' mission and enjoy an epilogue or carry on and see the explosits in the screamsheets while you carry on being you.

Since a good idea is worth repeating a billion time, let me say this:

Let me kill everything in the game please! CEOs, presidents, famous rockerboys, orphans, hot chicks, whales, athletes, geeks, thieves, saints, civilians, -----EVERYTHING.

Sure the CEO of some megacorps should be hard to reach let alone kill --- if not nxt to impossible except for the most dedicated players. MAybe even be an exploit worthy of a Youtube video. Could be a boss like EMERALD weapon in FFVII.

BUT it should be doable.

If it screws with the main campaign, hey, it's on me! Or rather on the writer, because his story is boring. But I'm pretty sure it won't happen

I have faith!

I am all for this. As long as there are appropriate consequences. You kill a crime boss, expect his gang/family to come after you, (or maybe befriend you?Hey, the previous boss may have been a real jerk.) You kill of a CEO, expect that mega corp to throw everything at you, including the police. Murder is still illegal after all. And also, corporate crime in 2020 was punished far harder than regular crime.

Actually, having thought about itx killing a CEO or other high ranking executive should provide a huge amount of content. You should literally have to drop your old life entirely, new identity, sever ties to all but your most trusted contacts, (lol, yeah, because trust is a thing in Cyberpunk,) and hide from the authorities, (corporate and governmental,) until you find a means to ditch thr heat.

Just thought about something.
Since this game will introduce the Cyberpunk universe to a lot of people, I figure you'll have to hang around in every part of the universe (corporate, night city, gangs, combat zone, etc...), so people can discover and understand the world by themselves.

I doubt they'll go on a "one storyline only" route, they kind of said that they wanted to move on from the witcher, and do something "new".
There will probably have "one focal point", a global event, the thing why you're here, etc... And you'll do your way around it, more than following a single track from the begining to the end.

It's still to see how they'll manage it tho, but it would be cool to see the place you'll go interacting in different way depending on your actions, etc...
Not in a GTA mindset you know "wait 5mn and all your stars are gone", but something really deep inside game itself.

Like, in real life, if you kill someone, shoot down a full police squad and make a whole rampage in the street, they won't be "Oh well, he walked away for 10mn, I bet we'll never see him again", here you should have the pressure you know?

Like "ok, I need to put this guy down, but if I get caught, my game is fucked up for this place", so depending on what you did, who you helped (or who you didn't helped either or whatever), the place should change, like a gang taking over another one (you'd see fresh graffitis over old one, and more guys from one gang in a location), people would be nice to you or avoid you, even shooting at you.

You could be in touch with the police, or having to avoid them at all cost.
Since there would be plenty of side quest, each one would change the world, but depending on what you did, in which order, ect... it could change the world in different order, creating different events resulting of it (like, if you release a chemical agent in one mission, and that you blowed up the anti-chemical factory in a previous one, you'd have acid rain, media talking on it, etc...).

Also, depending on your rep, you'd have media or not on your back
Like, if you're very sneaky and quiet, media will never heard of you, you'll be like a ghost.
Now, if you like to play it with attitude, like a "punk", of course, you'll have your reputation, and you'll have a bunch of media guys, following you like a bunch of monkeys to get a scoop on your actions.

Try sneaking in a building with a dude and a camera behind you haha.

Everyone expect "huge" things when it's about having the world reacting to you, but those small little things would make the game even more "alive", and create totaly crazy situations (it's already crazy to have a whole media crew sticking on your back, now take it to a whole new level a get a another media team shooting each other to get a scoop about you).

Same, if you're a cop and act good, people will probably be nice with you (but not gangs), and vice versa.

If you screwed and killed someone everybody love, you're screwed.

Media could be fun too, nowadays, media are all "money money money" with audience and all of this, so you could have something related to it, and depending on the audience you make. If you're a kind of paparazzi, or something like this, doing "audience friendly" things trying to know what kind of guy the last braindance's star loves to date, or doing cool reportage over "how corporate plazza is a beautifull place", people will probably love it, on the other hand, if you're an hardcore journalist, you'll end in a crappy pirate TV station, telling the thruth that no one want to hear, ect...
People would react differently depending on what channel you're on (I'm more a N54 guy, Never heard of your tv program, etc...)
Even there, you could make a lot of thing with the audimat stuff, like trying to do "audience friendly" stuff on your pirate channel, and wow, it works, now N54 is coming to get you on their channel, you say yes, and 2 days later your old Pirate Channel has mysteriously been burned down, and people calls you "sell off", etc...

A netrunner could have stalkers on the web and in real life, etc...

There are plenty ways to make the world reacting to you on a lot of scales that I hope they'll have fun with it and gives us something crazy.

Suggestion concerning combat: don't make the game turn based combat only 8like divinity original sin or shadowrun hong kong) that the game autmatic is paused and the charater just stand still and takes damage and do nothing, and thene the other character takes damage without moving, that's pathetic and boring, some slow-time movements-strategies, like the quick access menu from witcher 2 is alright
;)

important: day-night cicle, cp2077 must have a dynamic day-night cicle, but not like tw3, tha a second in real life is a minut ingame, but a minut in real life is a minut in game,
a day in night city, that would be interesting

illegal weapons. There could be weapons that you are allowed to carry like pistols or MP5 and there could be weapons that are illegal like rocket luncher and laser-pistol. Having those guns in your possession could get you in trouble with police (or whatever securty there is at that time) .

Mixed Reputation System that allows you to be both respected and disrespected according to your achievements. For example, you may have done 5 good deeds and 2 evil things. The system shouldnt show you number 3 but both 5 and 2 at the same time. So some people in the game will thank you for your overall 5 points while some others wont forget about that 2 evil things you have done. Besides no Cap for either of them.

I know these can be complicated but i love complicated.

Game Engine! is really important!, if cp2077 uses the same engine as tw3, that aweful "dithering" method the textures have must be totally improved, some textures look like a grid, with transparency or something like that, and very low res textures everywhere, nobody would like that in cp2077, and the npc-pop up issue

It's not really a suggestion per se but think tons of character creation options would be a major plus(ie. Skyforge, Eve, FFXIV, Star Trek: Online, ). Basically anything with a good amount of sliders, graphs, etc. and not premades or presets with very few changeable details as the main mode of alteration.

Beautiful, complex, nonstereotypical female characters. "Strong women" is a cliche in this day and age. Give us badass awesome beautiful yet vulnerable characters who have room to grow and are great because they are great, and they just happen to be women.

Great character design, animation, voice acting. Compelling, realistic character interactions that carry depth and history.

Explicit sex scenes

Zero pandering to politically correct bullshit. Don't pollute your creative integrity with that nonsense.

A story where the final act doesn't feel like it was rushed out the door.

Immersive world that is beautiful yet repulsive - should be almost like a spiritual experience when exploring.
