Leave the N word out of this game.
The first 60 seconds of Wolfenstein2, you have a game written by white people with a white voice actor calling a black child a N word in a game being consumed by a bunch of white people.
Its the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in a game. GTAV is disgusting as well the way they just keep forcing it into the lines as if to tell all the white kids to say it at home too.

The voice acting and dialogue shouldn't be cheesy.

The story needs to be epic. And it should be relatable. It should allude to the causes of this dystopian society and the struggles of everyday people against the elite. Class struggles is universal. Include it in your story.

Mod support. I'm replaying Fallout 4 at the moment with nearly 100 mods installed. Changing the landscape, NPCs, items, clothing and even the UX, while adding dialog, ability options and more. Not only do I have a custom character, I've got custom world.

So, we get to create our own character for Cyberpunk 2077 and that's AWESOME!!! Now, here's a neat idea... why not release a stand-alone character creator ahead of the game (kind of like Saints Row did with their Inauguration Station.) This would be amazing as :

  • Everyone would have months to create the perfect character and could jump right into playing the game on the day it releases.
  • It would make a super-cool pre-order bonus that would give us something to fiddle with until the game is actually released.
  • People could share presets on NexusMods ahead of time, so there'd be bucketloads of cool character presets available at launch for people who aren't very good at character creation.

Also, I can't stress enough how important it is to be able to share your presets as a simple text-string. Text can be pasted into forums, sent in e-mail, and even put into QR-codes allowing you to leave character presets around in the real-world... How cool would that be to have a QR code with your character's preset (essentially your in-game "DNA") stuck to your T-Shirt, jacket, or bumper? :D Beep!

This would make me very happy.

A string might be a bit much if the creator is in depth as it sounds, but it's easy enough to embed the info into the meta data of an image.

Sounds like a nice idea, it would be a bit like making your character in a P&P game like you do before the campaign starts, however it doesn't sound very CDPR to have it tied to a pre-order. (Even though CDPR games are all I do pre-order).
Also seeing as we're still at the very least a year and a half if not two out it wouldn't be for ages seeing as releasing it too early means people will get nice an' impatient having such a small section of the game too early. (Even if it is a huge part of the game).

Yes. Make sure the voice acting is proper. Some feedback from E3 was it had some cheese at times. It should be dark, realistic and dramatic. Use humor sparingly, like TW3. It has more effect that way.

I mean, considering the stakes in the Witcher 3 - It had to have a gritty approach, but there's also that Geralt was described in the books to have a rough, to some unnerving voice (Ala that fight he gets into during his fight in the tavern in one of the short stories where it's described to be repulsive) - But TW3 had a lot of lighter moments some subtle, some err.... Not so much;
As for Cyberpunk (2020) I mean it's based off the best and worst of 70's - 80's culture.
What would a Cyberpunk game be without attitude, blood and gore and one liners?
Balancing grit and humor doesn't have to be about making funny sections and hard hitting sections exclusively.
Tone is easier to balance in a setting like CP2077 where it's not a 'save the world' story.

Plausibility in the mod and weapon design. I've never liked it when a a character unfolds a massive gun from their for arm that's bigger than the arm itself. Where does all that mass go?

It also means you have to make choices, you can't have both a blade in your arm and a Gatling gun.

Hey,

so I've been playing games about 8h+/day for over 10 years, I'm 26 years old most time spent in WoW and Dota 2. I have basically played every big game release during that time and beyond with my first love being Deus Ex from 2000. I have seen many games rise and fall so to speak. I want so speak about human psychology and being a prisoner of surroundings, about the choices we make because of them in the games. These things would be for example flying anywhere in WoW that actually killed life of outdoor content for a while because it's just more efficient to move like that, and when something is efficient, we humans do love it (with the cost of atmosphere or anything pretty much). Then there is bad quick travel systems, abusing vendors with time skips or quick save until you get the "perfect play", etc... Of course there is another side to this when there is no time skip or quick travel to save precious time and you just have to do "mindless" stuff running around or wait that time goes by. You should get my point by now I hope.

So my biggest fear for this game is that something like this gets there. And to be more specific I fear for if we have the freedom to quick save when ever we want and we can go for those "perfect plays". I mean yeah it's cool to slay entire armies without getting a scratch, but if you have the ability to try it again and again, you lose the feeling of being alive. I feel like the answer to this is check points or some restricted quick save mechanic, "I dunno lol" to be honest. I feel like Metro 2033 did it best so far (I know it's a way simpler game).

Then my second point follows as if you can't train perfect plays with "quick save", there should be enough information at the start of the game to learn all the possible mechanics. And if there is "many" things to remember, please just remind the players a second time and even a third time. People are busy in their lives and many of the players have to learn enough things daily at work and so on... Only giving the information once is just not enough when you enter to a whole new universe, and giving just a "menu option" to check all the tips is not enough. I don't and I believe many others do not want to go to the menu to check how to play this game to it's fullest potential every now and then. Of course it's nice to have the possibility.

And to the third point. Why do not games have a button that shows you the keybindings in a keyboard or controller map. I mean it takes like a 15min of coding to do that (more than that, I know, chill). Press a button like "F12" and you can see keybindings in one clear shot. Sometimes people do not simply have the time to finish the game with regular playing times, sometimes life gets in your way and you can't play for a half year, but you remember the story and what your character has gone trough, you get the urge to play again because you now have time and then you start the game and learning the buttons takes like first 2 hours. (Yeah you can check the option->bidnings->keyboard/controller->movement/combat/hacking/vehicles/something/something) But it's 2018 holy s***, you should get the idea. Of course there are ways of hinting the buttons visually in game and so on... Still you don't see them all easily when ever you feel like and it's annoying and makes people quit games.

That's my contribution and I hope you understand me. :D I also know you guys will do amazing job no matter what! You are truly a amazing organization in this modern world where we live (in every aspect).

PS. I hope there will be hair options with dreadlocks. :3

holy crap that's a fantastic idea...!!! last game who did that was... the sims 4, I think ?!

Ideas:

- Be able to take Jobs, like normal people (roleplaying)
- A fight club. Like "Altered Carbon" TV serie. An arena like TES Oblivion.. with ilegal fights, somewhere where you go to earn some money. Robots vs humans, humans vs humans, or robots vs robots. You can fight, and you can be an spectator.
- Full implemented first person porn, with dark and dirty secrets on brothels, extorsions.. a mini-game as OSEX (skyrim mod).
- Be able to buy a robot and have one like "Humans" TV serie. Do whatever you want with it: clean your house, cooking for you, work for you in a job, fight for you in the arena.. whatever you want. Is yours.
- Survival elements: You need to eat every day, and sleep, or you can die. Also you need to take a bath or people could be aware from you.
- Android slavering traffic.
- Be a thief, I've allways wanted to have a secret apartment/house cyberpunk themed with a lot of art masterpieces thieved, and have a collection. You have a lot of tools, so.. It could be very cool use that tools to be a kleptomaniac!
- Something like "guilds" in fantasy games, but integrated with the game. For example.. you join in a "paid assassins club" where you receive money for assassination contracts. But if you want to leave it, the will try to kill you to silence the secrets of the club. If you escape, you can sell their secrets for a big amount of money, and the police will make a raid.
- An "Auction? (sorry for my english)" club . (Sales). Both legal and ilegal. For rich, very rich people. You can be an emissary of a rich (job) or you could be the rich and buy things for you.
Also shops, shops, a lot of shops. In "chinese town" equivalent, chinese shops as "Gremlins" film first shop, with unique content!
- I would love a HIGH customizable house maker. I'm an architecture student and I would love the idea that you can make your own house.. but with a context. Example: You can buy a "handmade designed" house, or you can buy an empty house/apartment and design it by yourself. Plants, water.. i would love a giant Aquarium! and be able to see my fishs or even an octopus with neon lights and a robot wich clean the Aquarium and gives the food to the fishs. Also you can make parties in your house with the people wich you know. But the parties could going.. not well. Drinks, fights.. someone could die, and you need to hide the body.
- Exploration zones like "Blade Runner 2049" film.
- Of course, VR support for Windows MR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift!! :) the full game!

Greetings!

Hello CDPR Team,

I know it is a solo game but I would enjoy it with a friend, just simple two player coop.

I dream of some mechanics where both players are triggering dialogs options and the one with the best choice win the attention of the interlocutor and unlock new possibilities.

For example, we are negotiating with a member of militech, I have a good level of street cred to hold the attention of our interlocutor but my friend has a high level of techie and unlocks other dialogues making him leading the discussion and adding new possibilities.

That's a true dream for me ! Thanks for listening to us !

I want dark gritty emotional storytelling, Interesting believable characters, Difficult choices and dire consequences.

This stuff is what really sold me on The Witcher 3 and I would like to see more of it.

Things I would love to see done in the game: in no particular order.
1) good voice acting
2) proper cyberpunk music (I know its a wide open genre, and I may have odd views, but I cant help but think of Cyberpunk every time I hear Prodigy's "Their Law" )
3) NetRunners... Im not sure any game can do it, without it being the focus of the game... I would personally rather see it left to an off camera NPC support than shoe horned into the game in some Deus Ex fashion
4) FASHION lots and lots of Fashion, its Cyberpunk the world of Style over Substance after all. Need to be able to buy/wear fashion ranging from street, to edgerunner, to HiSo and everything in between. I like what I hear so far about Street Cred being influenced by clothing, and maybe if you are dressed in full Gibson Battle Gear, other Solos may be ok, but take a hit to cred if you show up in it to meet a high ranked Corp in a HiSo bar... just saying.
5) Fashion also extends to Cars/Bikes/AV/Weapons... Sure the Colt Alpha/Omega may be an amazing 10MM handgun... but no one other than a few higher end Solos will know it, on the other hand and Armalite 44 will boost your cred with pretty much everyone on the street (and maybe lower it with the pros) Same with Vehicles, Sure the you can get a good bike for cheap... but everyone notices when you pull up on a Kundalini Shiva.
6) did I mention Fashion yet? ok really it should be Style ... have Style!
7) No matter what, I doubt you will get everything in at launch,so.. Chromebooks? (aka content updates)
8) full blown expansions? aka EuroSource? Leave the gritty NightCity in favor of more refined Munich,Paris ect maybe even Up the well to the Palace one day? (ya ok that last one should probably be ignored)
9)Mod support, seriously its unlikely any company will ever be able to flesh out even the fashion, weapons, status toys found just the the novels and game source books, but Moders can/will.
10) I know its too late from the looks of it, but Roles... I know the game is set to be able to change roles seamlessly and I like that to a degree. But maybe make a benefit for those that focus on one role? Sure anyone can use a gun/cyber but a Solo truely stands head and shoulders above all others in physical security/combat. No one matches a full Tech at creating gadgets, Anyone can Hack, but only a NetRunner has any chance of standing up to Corporate Black ICE programs. In expansions maybe bring in easier to do Roles like the Corp, MedTech, RockerBoy.
11) good stories! make them believable and impacting on the characters

ok thats enough I could go on for ages with this...
Thanks for the chance to chime in.

1) good voice acting

Yea poor voice acting can really put people off, I'm polish but I never play games in my language and will choose english every single time cause polish voice acting annoys me greatly as it's not believable lol (tried W3 in PL wasn't bad but still preferred ENG)
