We need to be able to create "Guild-factions" like gangs, corporation, syndicate, etc. And those "Guild-Factions be able to join another "guilds-faction". Like this we be able to create structures and affiliations be able to poll resources and/or wages War on resources and territories for our own inventive reason.
Like for example instead calling a Guild a "Guild" just leave it blank and let us call it like we want.
Also let the "guildmaster set "permissions to the "guild" that join his "guild", we be able to make structures and goal for the lower "guild". Like a "gathering guild" join a "Making guild":
"Breaking news: The Gang Bodysnatchers is secretly working with the Almana Corporation to ..."

1 - coop mode should include diffrent small goals achived by diffrent players towards one main trget.
and as someone before mentioned - (page 139 i think this treat) ech sucseded target leads to some benefits of other team member

- another idea is to have as i 've heard a charactershets visible for other players and act as data which can be stolen by netrunners
as information about enemy forces. This can be fun making some reserches and special preparations before actual main misions.
As well add some extra interesting situations in the networkfield.
I mean reserch actions - agency things sort of and antiinteligence things on the other hand.

- Before mission start i would like to have some preparation time. something like meeting when players can plann things
can met ech other and exchange data and so on, Maybe a map on which they can mark vital strategic points, where they strike and where to
they gona withdrew. that will act like additional role playing tool and as well will give some taste i think.

- finaly I think it would be nice ( excluding usual misions ) to have something like chase mode when You as player will
go under not wanted circumstances and some forces - for example : Police, corporation, gang or some nomads
will targe You as no 1 enemy ( It could be even scalable so there allvays will be some nr 1 and others less important enemies)
then this people can search you hideout, break in, chase You after mission, Kill you or kidnap You.
yours frends can help You defend or give you theirs hideout , and so on to that time when they will forget or someone else became nr 1.
Net runners can be crucial on this field to hide your data or to serch your marks in the net. ( You know )

- that will led us to make some hideouts which can materialise from box on the street to the 100th floor luxury apartment.
with diffrent security levels and costs and diffrent probability of discovery.

2 - Weapons/Wehicles and stuff, -

- Sniper rifle with rande of 5000 meters, navigatet by satelite, and special programs,
- finaly i hope to fly this nice AV-s thru the dark city and can shoot things fron above.
- Yakuza Laser claw from Johnny Mnemonic is a must - please.
- And time charges with cloak - i would like to be able to plan fireworks so punctual as trains.

3- Klimax

- I would like to have as well no so overtechnical enviroment, not so many robots and borgs .
- More Things like Scaner Darkly , Blade Runner

4- Enviros

- Large maps. Vast spaces, no UFO, no Aliens,
- Space yes with colony on mars and maybe moon some orbital station,
- Please dont do Space opera - it's Cyberpunk.

5 - Wounds -
I like to bleed and see situations and animations like in Reservoir Dogs where people bleed to death.
Make more real on this field - I mean more consequences of a shot.
Deadly wounded you do not instantly die You supouse to crawl and fight for Your life, tray to stop bleeding.
Etc.

Thanks for doing this game I'm huge fan from P.K.Dick books, throu movies of this genre to the Anime ending - fingers crossed

And finally I think that Cyberpunk Is great for MMO project if considered and leed caerfully.

Ouch, 146 pages. I haven't read them all but I don't think I could add many more suggestions to what's already been said.

Anyone mention Syndicate? Sure it's an old game but it was one of the best (and Syndicate Wars), doing research on cybertech and replacing organs/limbs/brain/eye etc with cyber parts and then upgrading them I would have thought would have to be fairly integral to a game like this IMO. I'd want options on cyber limb replacements, Agility/strength/endurance etc. Sniper zoom eyes or tactical close combat quick reaction ones.

The darker the better. It's not Disney's Cyberfunjoy world.

That would be a pretty cool addition to the game. I think we may have discussed it before, but I can see the Psycho Squad putting a chip in you that modifies how yor character sees people and his/her conversational choices for awhile.

Also could be very amusing.

[I would like to see crafting of weapons and health, similar to "The Last of Us".Crafting of viruses on the fly,a Med system that allows you to repair a fractured limb, your being/or reconstructing it,not just fill up the life bar that's weak.Med system idea comes from Metal Gear Solid 3

You know that thing in Max Payne 3, where when you shoot the last person in a combat in encounter it follows the last bullet from the muzzle to the meat, and you can keep shooting them as you watch the poor guy get torn apart by bullets?

I want that. Rockstar didn't patent or anything and no one will blame you for stealing a good idea.

Beside you have your own beautiful guns to show off.

Just don't fill the campaign with gratuitous fuzzy filters and cutscenes every five goddamn steps.

I mean come on, look at that.

Also like In Saints Row III where you start out in a box sized apartment and end up in a high raise apartment. But yes, a home is needed, unless if they use roles in which case a nomad's home base is his car.

I like to see character customization to the level of saints Row II where when it came to wardrobe, you can mix and match down to the belt buckle. Also, a larger selection of races for characters. I've been running the pen and paper RPG since Cyberpunk 2020 made it's first appearance and to this day my favorite supplement is still, "When Gravity Fails", based on the Madrid Audran trilogy which takes palace in a mythical Arab country.
This game has an opportunity to demonstrate that at least in video games, racial prejudice doesn't exist.

A lot of people still don't know anything about Cyberpunk so, should the game, not fly off the shelves initially, please, please, please do not do like most companies and drop any planned DLCs. Too many companies if sales aren't met right away pretty much say, screw you fans who did buy the game because there weren't enough of you in the first week (this has happened to me three times). I have no doubt it's going to be fantastic as long as you keep Mike Pondsmith in the loop. As the father of Cyberpunk role playing, he knows his stuff. While it will be impossible to put everything everyone wants into the game initially, I hope for many, many DLCs.

Needs cars, fast cars. Customizable cars with unlockable body kits and perks.

Needs weapons, lots of weapons but the weapons need to be found, earned through contacts via favors/missions/quests, or looted from enemies.

Needs to be third person. Switchable camera view so you can look around corners on both sides and not having to expose your entire body or become a blindspot to the one side the entire game.

Doesn't need a definite story, just have a bunch of possible jobs or groups to be hired into like law enforcement, or any type of agency or corporation or even any street gang or mob crew. Have them give a bunch of random tasks and let the player decide how he wants to navigate around the city.

The game needs to be multiplayer and open world. Must not have restrictions to killing random people, I want to be in danger of being mugged or ambushed while strolling down sidestreets or into the wrong neighborhood, so no factions unless you are a crew member or a group/party member. The game should be focused somewhat evenly on pvp and pve. No offline version, if you don't have internet TOO BAD.

Needs territory control. What better reason to own a gang than to control your own territory, protect your own street from rival gangs or as police, crack down on crime and clean up the streets. Give territory perks to as in, when in this zone you gain x % more experience/money/random stat. The farther your crew expands the better the rewards and the easier to stay within the borders.

But of all most importance, the game needs a incredible customization experience. Completely customize your character with clothes, tattoos, weapons, and vehicles. Customization like in APB:R, where you can literally make the designs yourself and put them on your clothes/make them into tattoos. A system like that and with even more options (like more hairstyles, lots of hairstyles) and this game will be amazing.

Some hairstyle inspirations-

That PvP is fun and open world multiplayer is fun...but not really consistent with great SP games.

Perhaps 2077 would be the first. Doubt it, though.

PvP has to be balanced to be fun - Cyberpunk isn't balanced around combat. Rockerboy vs Solo. Byeee! Not always, but almost always. You vs a trained Marine..Byeeee! That's life. And cyberpunk 2020 takes a not bad shot at being realistic.

Cyberpunk is balanced around contributing to the PnP story. There, a corporate or a rocker can vastly outshine the poor fighter class.

Combat, as fun a competition as it is, is really quite a shallow arena for multiplayer.

We are hoping for open-world Co-Op multiplayer with optional friendly fire. You do the story together.

And when I say, "we" I mean all right thinking people and EVERY one on this forum. Now including you.

It's a meme. You're infected. Give innnnn....

Does this mean I have to go back to the clinic AGAIN?

But yeah, PvP is all well and good, but as Sard said, Cyberpunk shouldn't be balanced on combat, so it just wouldn't work. I did suggest tournament style pit fights though.

And no shared world, it would kill off all attempts to actually roleplay. I did suggest shared locations, like bars and clubs. A bit like Guild Wars.

I thinking that weapon upgrading would be like something between S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of pripyat (yes with toolkits but without booze) , Fallout new Vegas (like silencer bigger clip or lighter frame but you can buy them), what I meant is there should be buyable modification blueprints (both legal and illegal) and some mountable upgrades.

I kind of agree. 2020 had a reasonable weapon modification system. I still like the idea of buying parts or using more expensive raw materials to fabricate proprietary or rare parts from single use schematics.

Some parts, (like scopes and silencers,) should be easy to add or remove by hand in the field. Others should at least require a basic work bench and tool kit, (like stocks and receivers,) while others, (like trigger assemblies and frame conversions,) should require complex tools in a proper workshop.

I recommend voicing your opinion on the active thread about the subject, if you haven't already.

Material types, (alloys and such,) could represent component quality, they may need better tools to work with too.

I want mixmatch and multilayer clothing. Like a pair of glasses and a hat, and a bandanna etc. Not a pair of glasses that covers the entire head slot or whatever. And like a t-shirt with a jacket over it. I also want to be able to put each of these pieces on. Not just a clothing item that automatically applies it to the character. I don't want outfits to be in sets. Just a mixmatch of clothes u can throw together something creative with. Or even if there were premade outfit sets that you could modify to your liking. As long as I can directly affect the way my character looks I think I'll be happy.

Damn, this is nearly 150 pages long!! I started reading from the beginning then noticed just how damn long it is. So forgive me if I mention something already covered by someone else.

Give and take away. If the player manages to get a load of cash/guns/info, have someone come to take it away. Not all the time, and give the player the chance to negotiate/hide/fight for their 'shiny' treasures. Say that they've managed to take down a perp and get some bounty for example, then collect their reward. Have some random gangers find out, or even just a 'coincidence' try and rough the character up to get the money.

Similar to the above, Equal and Opposite Reactions. If you bust a bank and take your cash the old fashion way, in hard copy, expect a police chase. If you pick someone pocket, expect them to have a chance to notice and to react appropriately. Your a scary cybered up ganger, your target was an old woman? She'd probably just scream and hobble away. But it could be amusing for her to occasionally do a 'Dirty Harry' and pull out a Super Chief and try and blow you away. Players should have to work the game to avoid being caught by the cops, by bribes or by using contacts, for example.

Organ/Cyber harvesting. Have as a way of 'making money' the option to harvest the cyberware and/or organs from their victims to get money in return at the local 'bodybank' Maybe they have to first make a contact in the bodybank before they can get cash for organs. Might not be something that everyone does, but those playing as real low lifes will do. "Dead is dead. Parts is parts. Dead guys is parts" - Ripperjack.

Drugs and alcohol. They're a part of the culture of Cyberpunk, so it should be a part of CP2077. Give us uppers/downers/combat drugs, everything. Again, not everyone will be interested in getting the drugs, but some will take any edge they can get. This is cyberpunk of course.

BodyLotto. Have this as something the the player might overhear when their character walks into a store, or over the radio, or even broadcast on the streets. Maybe have it that we can buy tickets in the BodyLotto, with the chance of winning some cash. Then we can go out and try to increase the nights kill ratio so we have a better chance of winning.

I don't know how plausible it would be, but it would be awesome if this could be played on many different levels. Like on one play through, you could play as a 'Street Samurai', another play through, maybe lower like some gangers, real gutterpunk style. Another play at a Corporate level, and have the game look really shiny, until you have to venture down to *shudder* street level. Maybe play as someone in Organised Crime. You get the idea. This would probably be better implemented in DLCs/expansions.

If, if you do decide to go MMO, keep it separate from solo play (unintentional pun, honestly!). I don't do MMO, so if this was solely MMO, I'd be most unlikely to play it. Which would be my loss I understand.

I prefer the FPS style, not 100% on 3rd person, maybe have it switchable between the two? Like Fallout 3/New Vegas.

As mentioned just a couple of posts above. Weapon Mods is a must. What would be cool. As would different types of ammo.

Will we be able to use vehicles? If so, then vehicle mods too. I would then go as far as saying we'd need a safe house and/or a garage. Maybe have several like in the GTAIV series? How cool would it to be able to have a penthouse suite in the Corp Sector with your own AV pad on the roof!!

Obviously CP2020 has a ton of weapons & cyberware. I'd like to see a goodly portion of them in the game if at all possible. In stead of just one or two pistols, have 20, have more!

Thinking of pistols in Cyberpunk, we need Polymer One Shots. We need disposable weapons! Running low on ammo for your pistol in a shootout on the streets of NC? Look, there's a vending machine just down at the corner. Fight your way down, and damnit! It only has polymer one shots!! Well, if needs musts....

We need a day/night cycle. Random weather patterns. Seasonal weather patterns. Random trash in the street. Random encounters on the streets/where ever you are, based on your location/suburb.

Many, many, many (and many more!!) side quests!! Help rescue someone daughter from the clutches of a dorph gang in the combat zone. Corporate Extractions! Bounty hunts. 'go fetch me this random item' missions'. Dive into the net to obtain info for your next mission. Basically the game should have a High, very high re-playability. DLCs help, but the game should have an inbuilt random mission generator of some sort. So you want to get more missions, when you go to the contact you have for the gangers, you get missions to steal low level stuff, to go 'break someones legs' for not repaying a debt back quick enough, etc. When you go to the Corp contact, you get corporate extractions, black ops, etc.

The use of drones/domestic robots should be fairly high. If not by the player, then by everyone else. Even now, police forces around the world are using drones. Same with search & rescue teams. Obviously we know the military are. Hell, for a couple of hundred $$ (even less), you can buy a 'quad rotor' drone that you can control with your smart phone. Today. As know there are a few 'domestic' robots out now today (robotic vacuum cleaners anyone?), but up that a few decades (we're in 2077 remember?), so having humanoid domestic servants in the game makes a certain amount of sense. Could be used remote, but most likely some programming or even low level AI. So we can see these 'domestic servants' going down the street on some errand for their owner/business.

Don't forget the world below the streets! We need the subways, sewers and stormdrains of NC to play in as well. Really stuffed up and need a place to hide, but it's too hot to get back to your safe house? Go underground! Obviously it's a feature of the Fallout series, but also have a look around the net of what lies under our cities. It's plain amazing. So something similar should be done for the CP2077 game.

How big is the game going to be? Just NightCity? What about the immediate area surrounding the Night City we see in the books, will we get the industrial areas as well? What about the rest of the state? Both Nor & So Cal? Bigger? The size of the nearly out GTV is meant to be huge. Just Cause 2 is meant to be 400 square miles! And there are bigger games out there!!

Map comparing game world sizes

Can't think of anything else atm, if I do I'll add to the topic.
