Who needs an attack? I'd do like Max Mike says, and place that 20kg under your bed with the pressure plate under your mattress. You get into bed and "BOOM' baby! It's raining cyborg bits.

Every - EVERY - good punk assumes someone is trying to kill him and changes his sleep location. Except those of you oh-so-explodable fools that have "safe" houses. Safe. Ha! BOOM.

20 Hours main quest minimum. Parkour elements like in sleeping dogs. Great AI. Deep Story line, Living world maybe something like you see a women gets backstabbed. Good animations, nothing like skyrim XD. play as Female and Male. Make much character models old, young, pretty, ugly, slim, fat, augmented or not augmented

I'm still hoping for 100 hours of storyline...

No way. Not unless they have a Ubisoft sized team. I'm happy with 30-40 hrs with 10-20 hrs of side content. These days I value replay value over length.

..I gotta quit playing SW, everything's a dick joke now.

I hope for 100 hours as well. Replay is fun, but it's still same content with reflavouring. I'd rather spend days in the world with my character doing new things and new stories.

Or a really wide-open endgame, with, say, 40-60 hours of story and then lots of randomly generated or plot-caused post game activities. Build up your gang, discover new cybernetics, rule the world of Combat Cyberbrawl, etc.

I agree. TW1 had a huge amount of gameplay and that was their first ever game, with little or no prior experience!

The inevitable modding community will undoubtedly provide tons of additional content as well.

Witcher 3 will have 100 hrs gameplay. 50 hrs main quest and 50 hrs side quest. I suspect this is roughly their target for 2077 as well.

I would hope for the game to not simply be an action game with some stats that don't really do anything worthwhile in practice (like the recent Fallout games) and a branching narrative, but that it would also offer some semblance of oldschool adventure-gaming in the mix (taking a page from some the old point'n click adventures like BAT 2, Dreamweb and the sort); with high levels of interactivity and reactivity on both, micro and macro levels, paired with interesting and actually impactful systemic intricacies through a strong and varied ruleset, like that of PnP game or the traditional RPG's of the old. Where the focus of the gameplay is not solely at killing stuff everything else being at the side, but distributed evenly for all forms of interaction.

I would really hope that this title - with as interesting and promising premise it has - has the courage to break out from at least some of the currently popular mainstream molds of highlighted simple actiongaming in visual splendor for everyone and their dog to casually pummel through at the cost of everything else.

In cyberpunk 2020 pretty much anything and everything has hp or spd, including walls and buildings. As much as I would love to be able to destroy all of Night City 1 building at a time, I don't believe it could be thrown into 2077. But having the ability to break through a wall to catch the enemy off guard is something that I believe should be in the game. (on top of shooting through walls)

Too few games actually let you shoot through walls. I hope we get to see it, but do it right (no shooting through thick concrete with handgun etc.).

Loved to do that in Invisible War. You had Mag-Rail that only damaged organic targets.

Many big title games have collectable figures/toys. If this game was to have anything like such I would wish for miniatures. I heard somewhere that cyberpunk 2077 would have the ability to print your in game character sheet and use it with the board game. (idk if that's true but would be nice)

On a related note, wouldn't it be awesome if that 2077 Crusher came with a 'deluxe editon'.

I want one to convert to fire nerf darts with the shell casings.

Hope to see a huge, very noticeable change between where the rich live and everyone else.

Hope that everyone is not solo/netrunners.

Hope Night City comes to life! Want to be able to explore the big hole that once was Colorado Springs etc...

But really, just want a game with Cyberpunk atmosphere. Lots of fog, mist, and rain and as others stated, its got to be dark .

Good story lines.

Here is my though on an rpg: I want Human modifications for skills. These modifications actually change your physical appearance. If you can throw in a high volume of mods, then every player is sure to be unique. for example, if you have a mod that's for a guy with more health or armor or something, then he physically becomes bigger. Then lets say now lets say he has a mod for something completely different, oh for an example magic, now he is this big buff guy, with a twist so now his appearance is way different form someone else. with robots and stuff i think this could be a cool visual think for the game.

It's almost already the case. (except there is no magic involved)
And there's no doubt there will be a lot of "Brand" of cybernetics, so you'll can choose what you like the most, just for the style of it (and hopefully a different artist behind each brand, so each one will look unique).

But beware "High volume" has a sour price.

In Cyberpunk 2020 rpg, when you add a cybernetic implant (what you seems to call "Human modifications for skills"), your body change.
If you buy cyber-optics, your eyes will look different (with hopefully, like now, or in "Burning Chrome" novel from William Gibson, there will be good brand, expensives, and crappy brand, like the chinese stuff we buy nowaday, pretty cheap, but subject to bug, crash, freeze, etc... or who would break after a few days of use, could be fun and add some interesting tweaks like "should I buy crappy optics rights now, or wait a lil, risking to be killed to get some better one?")
The same goes If you cut-off your arm and replace it by a cybernetic one, you can add a lot of option on it..
To be a "Big Buff Guy" you can use Grafted Muscles and Muscle and Body Lace, it will enhance your body (+ 4 constitution in the 2020 RPG)
So I don't think you should be worried about diversity in Cyberpunk, there'll be for everyone taste.

That said, it sound all fun and badass... but here come the psychosis c:
Every time you put an implant on your body, it lower your humanity level from a few points, depends on what you implanted in your body ( also lowering, every 10 points, your Empathy level), once your humanity & empathy level are at 0, you turn in a cyberpsycho, you're disgusted by flesh, humans, everything living. (in the rpg, the game master play your character instead of you, playing it like a real psychopath, raping, stealing, murdering everyone. )

Often, people mislead the cyberpsychosis, thinking it's the "machine" inside, taking control, something like terminator.
It's descibed in the books as something more credible, more nasty.

Once you're implanted, it's like nowadays when you broke one of your bones, you need re-education at hospital, learning how to move your body, your body have to be used to new reflexes after a serious trauma.

It's worse here, because, nowadays they teach your body to use something he knows, here you're supposed to stay at the hospital, checking with a psychiatrist how your body adapt to it's new "extension" (yes, a rocket launcher in your left arm, and a flamme thrower in your trouser are considered new extensions lol), but most of them just head out of the hospital, doesn't giving a shit about what doctors told them.
"I've got so much money to make outside, i'm not going to stay here for two mounth"
That's how cyberpsychosis starts.

Imagine yourself, waking up a morning, feeling something in your arm, something that move, that you can control, you know how to basicaly use it, since it linked to your neural system, you just feel it's here. You've made yourself a lil pleasure recently, and bought yourself a bunch of cyber-implant, maybe too much, but who cares?
You were too busy to listen to the doctors, so you headed out of the hospital, "All they want is to milk my credit card anyway..."
But this morning, your cat was so happy to see you, that he jumped on your belly... at least he tried.
Your reflex boosted to the max intercepted the cat and cut it in half with the rippers implanted in your hand, it was so quick you didn't even perceveid it
"Sh...shit! what was that?" is what you would say, after seeing your cat jumping at you and exploding in air just in front of you.
Implants works on automated signals, so if you don't learn how to master them... it's them who masters you.

Then in the street, you feel all those wire inside you, sneaking in your flesh like a thousand hungry worms, all those humans... possible threat.... didn't you see those guys in the news? maybe they're among them...
Then the wires starts to intercept your fear, your boosted reflexes fills your with adrenaline, you start to sweat.
"Fuck, what is happening?"
An homeless guys comes to you "please, some money, to eat, please"
He tries to grab your arm, but your reflexes broked his arm before you could realize he was laying down.
You don't notice, you keep walking.
You got to the office, boring job.
Your boss calls you, start to scream on you. "You're the lazyest asshole i never fired!"
You leave the room, feeling the wire streched, ready to move, your body is overwelmed by thousand of informations that you can't even understand, your life is so shitty, your wife left you, your cat exploded, and now those cyber-crap are driving you crazy.
That's when one of your co-worker, you know, the asshole no-one likes, throw you a paper-ball "Good luck in your next job" as he laugh.

It's too late, the rage makes you abandon all control, and the implants works for you, your hand grab the paperball, the 9mn mounted in your other arm start to shoot that bastard, secretary screams in horror as you beat the security guy to death with a chair, crushing his skull with your cyber-arms.
But you start to like it, feeling this power runing in your wires.
You show everyone who's the boss here, it's you, and nothing else.

Then the psychosquad comes, you got two solution, die like a boss, or got to the psychiatrist.... who'll milk that fucking credit card that your stupid fucking wife milked before him.
FUCK THAT!

That's how the cyberpsychosis is going.
I took an over the top example, but i find i quite fiting how a nobody can become a killing machine.
Mostly in a frustrating and violent world as in cyberpunk.

Your only solution against it is to learn to use it with a professional cyber-psychiatrist.

The ideal :
1) very light game engine, just be able to load the world without many problems and feature proof for expansions for the years to come.
2) A massive open world, be able to travel everywhere, enter all buildings and move into all apartments, not just a decorative blocks...

3) I love it to be a hybrid game, not mmo style. All mmos turn to be very boring, but if the game is single and massive and as player progress in higher levels and equipments/mods :
a) be able to log into pvp rooms, with other players. Pvp without the need of tirs and specific stats, thats boring... I prefer pvp based in my skills and what I allready achieved in my game.
b) special event rooms and mods, with other players.
c) an auction house if we have internet connection (to share profession creations).

4) I want it to have romance active and companions!
5) professions to create your own high-tech stuff (and sell them as I state in 3(c).
6) housing / base and the option to decorate and/or change bases frequently.
7) lots of conversations/voice overs and mood bars, romance bars, in all npc's. Also to be friendly in one area depends how I play the game, or hostile, so I have to change the way I approach an area (more like a reputation bar)
8) be able to dress up my character and my companion/s.
9) moding friendly. (create my own armors, change my textures if I have superior pc, etc).

10) I always pay attention to the character creator, I love to spend hour or hours to create a character! I love games with superb character creator.
