Honestly I would like to see some Co-Op. But have it implemented later down the line, after the game is released. Kinda like a have your buddy join in on ya from the start or hop in later. The biggest issue I had with Skyrim was not being to go and cause random chaos with a buddy.

List of things I want to see:

Ciri!

Meaningful choices

More like the teaser that you teased 5 years ago

Less GTA

Dark as f**k!

Interesting characters

Strip clubs

Clubs in generel (With electronic-themed cyberpunk music)

Romance (Many characters)

Great gameplay:
A head shot kills instantly unless the head is implanted like the one from the trailer. However more firepower such as rocket launchers ignores it. The player character and NPCs react to the environment both in combat and out of combat.
As clean a HUD as possible.
An option to switch from 1st to 3rd person view.

No multiplayer, co-op, or online!

Side quests (Which may have an impact on the main quest and even other side quests)

Melee combat

Unarmed combat

Mini games both digital (Brain-Dance and the equivalent to mobil gaming) and non digital (Pool, Poker, etc.)

A DEEP STORY!

The rumored translator implant was genius!

A sky high packed city always dark in the sub-levels

Please release another trailer since I discovered a bug at 0:24 where the NPCs disappear in the bottom left corner :D

Also can you make that Jacket in the trailer merchandise? I think it looks really cool and would like one myself

One thing I really like is when side quests have impacts on the main quest. When the main quest is completely separate from side quests it can lead to a feeling like the side quests are just there to gain exp or items. Those are fine too of course not every quest can be game-changing and have massive emotional impact; however making a decision in a side quest that then changes how a particular character interacts with you later is a really cool feature.

So if you skip the side quest you have a default no change to the main quest, but if you have taken the sidequest, it could have a positive or negative impact on the main quest, perhaps make some aspect harder or easier, for example.

I also love it when NPCs react to your story choices. Say you do something that is morally bad, I would like to see repercussions in NPC attitudes towards the player that can alter future quests, closing some potential quests or open up new possibilities in the game that if you had not taken such a morally bad option wouldn't have been available.

Basically I don't want the Skyrim approach where I can be the Champion of Meredia AND Molag Bal, whilst being leader of the Dark Brotherhood, a vampire in charge of the Companions and the Archmage of the College of Winterhold. I know this sort of thing is an extreme example that isn't going to be possible in Cyberpunk 2077 anyway, but as someone who loves to replay games, I want something more like the Witcher 2 where my choices can create a drastically different game that allows you to experience completely different things with each playthrough.

Lastly, cosmetic stuff: Please let me have some freedom over clothing choices. I don't mind the Cyberpunk version of the chainmail bikini and Ciri high heels/Triss DLC dress being an option, but I'd like to be able to have it be MY choice on whether my character is fully dressed with no skin showing, or semi-naked. And please let this be irrelevant to gender. I don't want all male characters in forced turtleneck jumpers with no skin showing while my female characters are forced to dress in underwear and stiletto shoes. Either they both have to wear the stiletto shoes or nobody gets to wear them. I don't believe that clothing standards haven't changed in 50 years.

-Make the city part of a bigger world, show international news of the time, give us the sense of dystopian world happening.

-Make an evolutive space, as in Novigrad in TW3, but more intense. Destroyed buildings(Or some new ones being builded), people in/emigrating, political impact (Like elections, war, "national security issues", etc).

-Do not think it is enough customization: Make consumable substances have good or bad long term consequences, drugs, meds, foods. I see prosthesis in the trailer, I would love to be able to modify mines, different materials, engines, brands, energy consumption, etc. Give us both the feeling of irreversible change (like loosing a limb on a fight and getting prostheses instead) and the chance to reboot some features we didn't like (Like learning martial arts at the "Matrix" style).

-And as it its like placed in "the real world" you should take a lot of time investigating all kind of vanguard science, physics, biology, computer-science, so you can make a solid plausible approach, and make all the atmosphere a lot more credible.

-Oh, and one last thing, if you can retrieve data of what the players are mostly doing, you could use unsupervised or real time training Machine Learning to make things more difficult to those meta-game players, and to make the game more vivid. We would love things to change based on the unconscious behaviour of the player base. No other game has made this, and if you want to, I would love to help, but i'm still learning LSTM Neural Networks, hire me in a year and we'll do.

Im not so good at english but I'll try
- World. I'm tired of settlements surrounded by forests and fields and it doesnt matter either this is medieval Poland or post-apocalyptic America. I want to believe that in Cyberpunk we will explore the city, huge not only broadwise, but upwards, where on one hand the richest people can not see what is happening down on the streets because of cars, bridges and smoke and on the other the poorest can never see the sky in their lives.
- The editor of the characters. In the Cyberpunk board game, as far as I know, you could create your own unique character using a variety of options. It will be great if it was implemented in your game along with a good appearane editor
- NPC. In such a big city there must be very much people around you all the time. All of them must really "live": go to work, do crimes, trade, be arrested, killed, robbed, kidnaped etc. If I can feel that people in the game really live, not simulate activity, then I can live in that game too.
-I hope this won't be like the most modern open-world games where u have good main-quests and boring side-quests. Of course very important missions like "Find granny's pan" should stay but I think that secondary factions quest chains must be more important for the story. For example my TESV experience: I wanted to play as wizard, I skipped most of main quests, I found mage college, I completed their chain and became the Archmage. And I wanted to finish my character story here - surrounded by books and pure magic. But the game continued and i still could become theif, imperial legionaire (starting from soldier which is strange when every guard knows who I am). Will be great if in the Cyberpunk will be the possibility to have a choice after quest-chains like that - end here and stay as a leader of faction (then game could tell that The Evil destroyed the world because there was nobody to save it) or give a leadership to someone else (but stay as a honourable person in this faction) and continue your story.
This is not all I have in mind but for now, I'll be done.

I have one simple and practical request: Make screen text (hud, journals, etc) Scaleable with a slider.
RPGs are challenging to play from the sofa, because of text. These fixed sizes aren't good (better than nothing), what's too big/small for me isn't for the next person.

In the core game I want some punk with the cyber (looks like we are gtg from the trailer, just want to state it), at times I hope it is oppressively dark & grimy, and other times I want to drop some black lace and lose myself in a crowd of faceless glittering club rats and melting multicolored lights. Keep the standard black clad military corporate strike force, but also throw in psychedelic booster gangs.

Secondly, I'd like some modding support, what I really want is after I play through the core game a few times, I'd like to try a few different lives in the cyberpunk world that don't have to have some overarching narrative, like maybe a ganger who is trying to make its way up the ranks, a guerilla journalist exposing the real story on the streets, a simsense artist trying to grow their fanbase & refine their skills by learning to feel fuller/deeper, capturing the craziest/riskiest behavior, or learning how to tweak the output into BTLs and hoping you don't fry your customers, or maybe a breadbox netrunner sneaking improvised data-taps into vending machines & point of sale systems, hiding diy relays and microservers around the neighborhood building up an ad-hoc distributed network. I am really looking forward to a defined narrative, but I also want to play around in a well developed cyberpunk world in ways that would likely get in the way of an overall game or are probably too niche to waste real dev time on it hence the request for modding support of some capacity.

I think the biggest thing for me would be to bring back the inventory management/modding aspects of games. I would love it if it was less about saving all your cash for the most powerful gun/sword and more about using the right weapon for the right situation. I want to be able to change the size of my apartment and have a wardrobe of clothes, guns, and arms that I can swap out or modify before a mission. A silenced pistol for stealing a jewel, a grenade launcher for robbing an armored car. And don't be stingy with the robo parts. I want to be able to swap out all my parts inside and out for cyberware.

On the mission side I would like it to be less walking around just to find a mission. I want to just plug in at the base and have a list of missions. Some jobs from the cops, some from corporations, some from shady friends. Taking body guard jobs raises your reputation, taking kidnapping jobs raises your street cred. I think some sort of alignment would be crucial so people can decide how "moral" they want to be.

The majority of the missions should be heists. I'm thinking kinda like Hitman where you can choose how you want to handle the target. It would be great if each class offered different options for the team. One guy can walk in and poison the target, another guy hacks the building and electrecutes him. I would love to be able to plan and rob a corporation in a co-op. Co-op car chases are the best. It's not a robbery until my friend is driving us away while I hang out the window shooting at anyone who follows. It would be great if there's gonna be an escort mission and it's for your co-op partner instead of npc.

Turbocharged and supercharged sounds. What i really hope for there a Turbo Blow Off Valve sounds when you deceleration or shifting gear, the sound effect pisssssss would be very nice! And please if can, Engine Swap vehicle, give like 3 option high performance engine from USA, Europe and Japanese for you to car customization. I love to see that crazy bodykits (Rocket Bunny) with monsterous 1000HP

When I first see this black muscule car and main protagonist in trailer . It's reminds me this guy. Heil Knight rider. I hope we have a possibility to see sarcastic muchtalking AI car R.O.A.C.H. It'll be super cool.
knight-rider-reboot.jpg ohc38fx.jpg

Nature & Daylight, I enjoyed it in W3 and my biggest fear after the render trailer was always night and rain
Also maybe a possibility to meet Ciri, because she says she has been there

What I would like to see in the game is variety in the activities I can do because when I get tired of doing missions I should have other activities I the world to occupy my time I they should feel fun and depth like Gwent for example if I'm singing karaoke at a bar or doing illegal street race or even going to the arcade maybe I try doing a triathlon.

The world should have secrets in it for the players to explore from secret area to mission, weapons or even gadgets and the world fun/exciting to travel in there should be variety in the road like highway, narrow streets, off road dirt paths and abandoned roads that haven been use in a hundred years. Some roads should be dangerous and there should be places like the sewers in L.A.

Update should be worth it and have depth they go on long after the game has been released and create longevity.

Relationships should also be a key factor in the game be and they should be affected by my choices and should be in depth like in Persona 5 where actually taking time to get to know your friend will help because they will be able to trust you more also my character should be able to get a girlfriend/boyfriend.

There should be variety in vehicles by land, sea and air also there should be dealerships where you can buy these vehicles from and customize them also there should be vehicle combat also to note there should be modes of transport like skateboards or this case hover board and BMX's because I will be a lot cheaper than get a car. Also be cool if there could be older modes of transport from early 21th century to the 20th century.

I want for the movement to be more like mirror edge where it fast and different but of course if my character if bigger person that isn't built for running then their movement will be a lot slower.

What would be great for the character is fine certain activities actually effect they character appearance and abilities like if my character goes to the gym a lot he/she will be very strong and look buffer but if my character just eats all and does little to no exercise then they will look different and play different.

Also there should be underwater environment that can add more depth to water parts of the map . But the map should have variety like there deserts, snow capped mountains and sprawling coastlines. But most important there should be dynamic weather like if I'm in the desert there should be a sandstorm and if I'm of a snowy area there should be a blizzard.

A great thing in video games are the little details developers but in like if you comes out of the water your clothing will look wet or if you walk through snow it actually makes footprints stuff like that push games over the limit and make them really special.

It's been some time since I posted here, hello everyone!

My suggestion is really nuts and might require an engine overhaul. But what the heck, it's worth a shot.

"Ascertain" mechanic:

During your time in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, you can trigger an "ascertain" moment to reflect what is happening around. When this happens, time slows down and you get to see what the character suggests as the plan of action.

For example, say you are guy from the trailer, sitting on that balcony with the sweet view of the m... a trauma team ambulance appears in front of you and you are moments from becoming a tin can in a target practice range. Everything happens in real-time, so your weapon is the "ascertain" button. You press it and time slows down, three options pop up "duck out of the way", "diplomacy" and "surrender". Now, you could have dealt with the situation without that mechanic, but in this way the game can guide you into more interesting choices while all chaos breaks loose, so its a fun way to play the game. This can be a class-specific mechanic, for let's say "Media" class (diplomacy and charisma is their thing).

Forgot to mention that this mechanic will trigger options, but will not tell you that there are options available, or it will become very OP. Only if you press the button at the right, the options will show. There will be no tell. Lastly there can be a cool-down so the player is not constantly pressing it to get an exploit of a situation (although the cooldown will be very short and will reset instantly if the player simply pressed it too soon right after a situation is about to trigger, so it doesn't frustrate the player).

The goal is to reward players that get the situation reflection right, but not make them be super vigilant of the mechanic and losing a moment, so some balancing will be required there.

MY IDEAS!

Firstly I would just like to say how much I love the Witcher series, I have been a big fan of your studio since you released the first Witcher game and absolutely love playing your games.

However I do have some suggestions I would like to see in this game, I would be honoured if you read my suggestions!

Here goes!

SUGGESTIONS:

1) The ability to fast travel from anywhere on the map at any time (even if you have to do a quest to get a teleportation device to be able to do it). It is a much needed feature and was missing from TW3.

2) Permanent companions that stay with you and help you (or stay at your home or base) with romance options and the ability to marry during the course of the game.

3) Your reputation effects your friends/companions in the game. Say if you become successful they become targets and get captured or attacked and you have to stop the attackers or find out why they are after you. If you are good you dont get that many after you, but if you are evil then you get attacked more often and the danger of your companions getting killed.

4) The ability to earn money offline via businesses or companion contracts. I found making money in TW3 a real chore and would like the ability to earn currency at a little bit faster rate. Even if you get like a Job mini game that pays out quite well (example fable 3)

5) Modifiable weapons and armour and customisation colours for your character. Too often Geralt looked like a walking disaster and not a badass with some of the horrible colours and styles of armour and gear. This would be a great addition even if you locked it behind some quests (say to rescue an NPC to do the work for you)

6) Plenty of romance options and being able to buy your own apartment or base of operations so you actually have a place to rest your character and talk to your companions. Also maybe pick up contracts and quests via your base terminal and the option to send out your companions on quests missions for you, or even come with you.

7) More dialogue options when talking to NPC's. Too often in the TW3 there was not enough options to either be a nice guy or a complete tool. Being a jerk Geralt is fun but you never was a real nasty piece of work I hope that this time around we get to be a real SOB if we want too.

8) A Sell all Junk button to vendors. Too often in TW3 my bags were full of crap and most of the time I had no idea what was junk and what to keep. A handy tidy bag tool would be great and being able to sell all the rubbish quickly would save time.

9) The option to buy more than one car and have a garage of sorts, even some specifically needed for certain missions like escort or assassination missions.

10) Integrated mod system, obviously the community is going to mod the hell out of your game, so if you incorporate that into the menu system and have a self installer or something that makes it easier to put in the game. So we can add more art, weapons, outfits, cars etc. Nothing game breaking. It be a nice nod to the community and make it easier for us to add more cool stuff to the game.

That's about it for my ideas, i really hope you guys read them, and let me know what you think!. I cant wait for this game, and I love single player RPG's. I am on my 5th play through of TW3 and I still love it as much as when i first played it!.

Keep up the good work!.
Regards
Andy

I have always thought it would be cool if you could have a common area that is online like "Bars" where you could go and hang out without pulling people into your single player game, but also have an option to hire them to do contract work inside your single player game. need help with a boss? go to the bar and recruit some help to come into your single player game to accomplish a task, pay them, and they leave. need a wheel man? go to the bar and get the word out. hire someone. bring them into the single player game as a coop, complete the job, pay them, and then they are back into the bar, or their own game and the progress is saved in your single player game.

What I would like to see are buyable houses or apartments.
It would be great, if you could join a gang or fight gang wars.

Countless customization options are a must.
Many different hairstyles, clothes, vehicles, cyberware and so on.
It would be cool if weapons, equipment and cybernetics not only have an influence on stats, but also bring a lot of visual variation.
So that you can customize your character to the last detail.

It would also be interesting to gain a deeper insight into things like organ or human trafficking, drugs, prostitution and perhaps even slavery or experiments on humans and worse within the cyberpunk universe. (without it feeling forced, obviously)

I want to be able to go to shows - sporting events like boxing , buying a ticket to a world championship fight , if i am rich i am buying a front row sit and if not a back sit , ppl will cheer (not for me !) and i will be one of the crowd enjoying an evening out.

Im very thural in every game, i love to find interesting details nobody else has noticed. I dont like when i have to read too much, as it pauses the game in a sence

Well, obviously I would made that in crowded streets pickpockets stole money and stuff from your physical inventory if you don't pay attention to the animation of them stealing you. If you have things stored in the cloud you should have antivirus and update it constantly in order not to get hacked.
