Those images are amazing but they lack one thing: people. Lot's of it. See any image of Hong-kong, Bangkok or any major asian city and you will see people.

Nope!

Tokyo right Now runs about 13 million - Night City Future is 5 million.

Not to mention that the amount of people in Tokyo changes based on the time of day. Back in 2005 they gave out a national census that said that during the night the population of Tokyo was just over 12.4 million people... but during the day the population was just under 15 million people. That's a 2.5 million difference just based on workers and students etc traveling in to Tokyo during the day. And a few years later when they where almost 13 mil they said it increased with +3 mil people during the day.

The most extream area in 2005 was the 3 central wards of Tokyo, who together has a population of ~326.000 people during the night, but during the day the population swelled up to 2.4 million people... o_O

I had a cool idea for an artwork... a piece that changes, people fading in and out, vehicles too, as the sun climbs and then drops...but leaving the faintest ghosts behind...
