Hey
Just wanted to share my passion-work I've managed to finish recently that was created because of the amazing inspiration I got from this universe and the wonderful artists contributing to its creation. As a visual artist/dancer I've finished filming several dance projects inspired by the world of Night City and its amazing radio songs this January. Recently I've finished retouching all the photos from the filming set so I thought I'd just share it here. Two of those are choreographies, three are dance improvisations, so a single take film - which I did three times in a row as I loved the song so much and was really curious what could I create with my movements on the spot. Lastly I wanted to share the 'Let You Down' choreography project which I've filmed at the beginning of September last year (along with the on-set and in-studio photoshoots).
The main difficulty was dancing on wet ground, as essentialy for the sake of the 'Night City'-like stylistics I created this puddle in which I had to perform in boots. Simultaneously with those Cyberpunk projects I've also filmed three other ones during which I danced completely in 'rain' within the studio, barefoot, and it was perfect as I could utilise some technique elements, go on demi-pointe, perform pirouettes easily whilst here even half a turn was a massive risk for losing balance or slipping. I tried to do my best in portraying the choreographies as cleanly and accurately to their raw, animalistic intention as I could. In 'Kill The Messenger' I went for the classic Cyberpunk stylistic with my custom made pseudo-kimono with Arasaka insignia and a cheap Aliexpress mask (to look more 'cyber' lmao). 'Black Dog' is more of a Cyberpsychosis vibe, which to me the song is about, with more of a 'Maelstrom' colouristic as I'm losing myself deeper into the madness. Jacket was custom-made in this one as well, with my own embroidery, patches and alterations, mask was from Aliexpress as well, but handpainted and weathered - unfortunately it was impossible to dance in it as it didn't have any nose attachment, so after a seventh take when it kept abruptly flying off my face during the choreo I decided to ditch it, perform without it and save it just for the photoshoots. 'With Her' is just pure Cyberpunk edge and classic yellow. I had so much fun with that one, hence why I decided to publish three separate impro takes as I felt I had something different to 'say' each time. In each project I had the the grundgy/dirty makeup, either done by my brushes or an airbrush + fake sweat/oil - glicerine for that straight out of the furnance/slums look.
I'm not really active on Instagram but I did put up short instastory snippets of the projects and they've been re-shared on official fanpages of Rezodrone, Steve Davis and REFUSED (so the real SAMURAIs). Was just super nice to be noticed and have your work seen by the people who inspired it in the first place.
Right here I'm only attaching the project titles and some key photos, full projects with complete videos and photoshoots from the set below in the links to my portfolio archive (as I cannot post everything in here since it would take way too much space, + the quality would suffer greatly I reckon) :

In April I'm scheduled to film my 'Never Fade Away' choreo project for which I've already created photoshoot and the title for back in 2023 ; along with choreos to 'Phantom Liberty' and 'Been Good to Know Ya' ; and towards the end of this year I plan to film a two-part choreography to 'Bullets', the signature song from the very first trailer from the game back from 2010/2011. I cannot wait to share those as well as the longer I create in my life and grow within my craft, the more inspiration I feel I'm discovering thanks to this magnificent game and the massive range of artists and talent it it involved, all of whom fuel me to create. That is the greatest gift any artist can ask for. Every single day I plan all the costume details, 3D prints, lighting, set, concepts, work on the choreographies, the photoshoots and I feel that it encourages me more and more. I can only hope that when 'Orion' finally comes out, its going to be at least just as phenomenal as Cyberpunk 2077.
