Cyberpunk is unplayable after completing all the main quests

After completing all the main quests, i am supposed to be able to go back to free roam and complete the side quests, however, i do not have this option due to the fact that it is severely bugged for me. when choosing my ending and completing rolling the credits i am given two options "one more gig" and "back to main menu" however, i am not able to go back into free roam, due to the fact that when i click on one more gig, it takes me back to the main menu. i go to click on continue and it just starts rolling the credits again, rather than taking me back to free roam. i have not found any information online on how to fix this, however while on the cyberpunk discord server, i asked if anybody had this issue and very few people did, so it seems to be a very rare bug/issue, but it is a very major one as it renders the game unplayable. if anybody has ANY information on how to fix this it would be very much appreciated. Thank You for taking the time to read this.

I've got the same problem, and I love the game do death, but this is honestly pissing me off. The story was beautiful but now id like to finish the sidequests i wasn't able to do and I'm unable to do so. plz fix this error as it's not even a funny visual or anything like that, this is a game-breaking bug.

Can you load a previous save before you did the last mission? (On the main menu)

Yeah, just load from the last save you made before starting the end game sequence. (As it says to do.)

What I haven't seen any sign of is the proffered reward for returning to the game on that version of V.

Same goes for me. Can someone confirm if thats a bug or a feature? Because if thats a feature that is just a joke.
If its a bug, no biggie, just fix and we all move on quietly, because: The story is phenomenal!

I have not had these problems from the pc. Once I finished I pressed continue and it took me out of the building before Hanako's meeting. Also because once finished you cannot continue to play freely, but you continue before the final quest

that might be, but makes absolutely no sense. Look at the time stamp of the game. It brings you BACK in time. before the hanako incident. So whats supposed to mean? That quest will always be "unfinished" ?
Seems a little dumb to me. I hope this is not intended because id be hella disappointed.

They give you the option to choose and see another ending. I think the endings only lead you to the dlc to come, this is my hope

Here are just a few threads about this issue. Theres many many more on reddit and other boards. I just cant accept its intentional. The only reason why it seems to be a rare problem is because people are probably just ignoring it and not being vocal about it. I assure you...its not a rare problem. Its happened to every player that played the last mission. As far as a fix or work around...there isnt one. This is CDPR's responsibility to get this right.

Ive been very vocal about this and im tired of commenting on it. It was sheer laziness to end a game like this. Its a kick square in the cooter to have a player put hours into something to get to the end....knowing damn good and well youre going to get a nice reward at the end...and cant keep the fucking thing because you get booted back to a previous save like nothing happened. Thats the fucking stupidest mechanic ive ever experienced.....ever.

Anyone who thinks thats intentional has their head in a hole. A fix needs to happen immediately.

Since it became widespread that this occurs.....ive put off finishing the last phase of the main mission merely because thats not the proper way to close a game. I want my end game rewards...not to go through a mission and then get told "fuck you, you cant keep them because we are idiots."

And..to add....some folks did saves INSIDE the last mission area. Where does their game attempt to return them?.....you guessed it...a phase they cant return to because its already been done. They get stuck in a loop and if they want to play the game anymore....they have to start a completely new game. Thats pure bullshit.

have played many games where they gave you the possibility once the main mission was over to continue playing, to finish some quests or find other items. Personally, once the game is over, I either start over or stop, I don't find it stimulating to continue something where the ending has already been played. I don't find it a lack. For the ending I see it as a beginning of something bigger to come, I have seen all the endings and I liked them all.
