Inspired by an illustration in the Intron Depot illustration book by Shirow Masamune (GITS, Appleseed, Dominion...)

While technically not cyberpunk, this Trigun cosplay has some elements pertinent to the aesthetic, and it's also badass and with a male model.

Aeon Flux Cosplay

Again, Borderlands is technically not cyberpunk but post-apocalypic does it for me. And it's Nebulaluben who also did this great Eliz Cassan cosplay (DE:HR) you've probably already seen.

We don't yet know if GITS: Arise will be any good... but one of the better cosplayers for the Major (one of the many proposed by Verodor) has already done cosplay for this new version.

Also check this publicity campaign for the series, involving non-active optic cammo.

Y'know, I really like the character designs in Trigun, but I couldn't get in to the story / follow the series. I couldn't hang with it going from action to slapstick in the blink of an eye. Kept snapping me out of the narrative.

You keep complaining about elves appearing on one of the pics. Apparently an even-toed ungulate of the genus camelus has somehow managed to photobomb one of the pics, he's showing the middle finger or the pinkie or something, but I don't know which pic it is!

I am often struck by how very silly cosplay looks in the real world. Not the subject matter, necessarily, more the contrast to our fantastically detailed, practical real-world setting.

Also, elves, ugh. And why is a camel giving me the finger? Did you mean this: http://www.snopes.com/business/hidden/camel.asp Because if so, I guess we know who sees the naked man...

I am often struck by how very silly cosplay looks in the real world. Not the subject matter, necessarily, more the contrast to our fantastically detailed, practical real-world setting.

But cosplyers are ugly (said miss cosplayer). Especially those who pretends to be as faithful as ever the the original anime, which makes look em even more awkward. Fact is that cosplaying is a world apart, were standard of beauty and logic are messed up LOL
