Exactly, it's still possible to buy the disc version.

Sucks for PS5 Digital Edition owners right now. Can't play the game even though it runs well on PS5.

Blame the "journalists" and Redditors. One of the best games of all time and it is being dragged through the dirt.

Yeah everyone is looking for the next disaster. Truth is this is not the next Fallout 4 or Fallout 76. Game is buggy at the moment yes but comparatively it's not any buggier than those games which also ran like poo on PS4. The difference between FO4/FO76 and CP2077 is that CP2077 is actually an amazing game underneath. Lets say the game really is unplayable on base PS4 (which I heard it isn't on 1.04), then this move screws CDPR from PS4 Pro and PS5 sales where the game runs fine.

May I please ask advice, my son wants this game and I want to purchase the disc version on PS4 for Christmas. He has a PS5 so I'm sure I can update it to that spec at a later date when available. However is it worth me buying, will updates come out to stop all the bugs and glitches etc? Or will I be left with a useless disc? Your advice is appreciated. Rachel

Don't buy it yet.

You want your son's 1st time experience with this game to be 100%.

The crashing does ruin the experience in immersion so much even though it runs so well on a PS5. Don't listen to others saying "Oh it works well on PS5 etc". Good for them maybe they're trolling or lucky. I have 4 friends on PS5 that suffer same crashing every 2-4hrs guaranteed.

I was too impatient due to FOMO.

When it returns to being available on Sony PS Store then you know it has been genuinely fixed.

Let your son choose the game he wants as alternative as not all AAA titles are actually good.

I was planning to buy this game, but it has been removed, it needs to be added back. I believe you can fix it with a few updates. Also the 1.04 patch was a very good improvement, I think cyberpunk ps4 should come again because of the game's story and gameplay is excellent.
