Problem with these threads is people suggest what they like, rather than what might suit. So i'm going to throw one in that i'm surprised hasn't been mentioned yet.

But what I would like is a *Computer Game Score* created along the lines of the old Syndicate games, even using a lot of midi (why not?), mostly electronica with a touch of punk (English 70's punk that is, ala Crass) - nothing im suggesting is my favourite music but it suits the game genre.

Some songs in bars and other suitable places or minigames is fine too, far preferable to a tracklisting of loads of random songs, which has no chance of pleasing everyone.

Ed Harrison's work has probably been posted in the thread, but I'll just post this for the folks who might not know about it. It's basically unreleased tracks for Neotokyo that he made:

If I could choose the composer for the score it would be Clint Mansell, his soundtrack for Moon was superb and exactly right for the theme. I believe similar would be suitable for CP2077. He has also expanded to do games, with some tracks on ME3... "Fall of Earth" was one of his IIRC, very emotive.

Ed Harrison will probably work together with CD for making music for CP 2077. Some dude is sending emails to CDPR and Ed Harrison and they kinda look legit.

How about these? I believe remakes of these songs would fit Cyberpunk well:

Acid head, or is it Braindance head? :D

Night City is Burning Baby! (I didn't really liked this song that much, but it would be nice to have a song called "Night City is Burning Baby!") :D

Ok, I've listened to it through a few times now, and agree the composer has potential.

But am I wrong to feel that, this piece anyway, isn't dark enough, by quite a long way imo, for Cyberpunk? I also didn;t detect any punk influence in there at all.

It reminded me most of Machinarium.

Thats not to say he couldn't produce something darker, but is a repeat of that what you want?

Yep... Trentemollers got his darkness levels in the Goldilocks zone alright, even hiding some punk in there too... nice stuff, I like :)

It`s just my opinion, but a Soundtrack created by Clint Mansell would be ... uhm ... delicious. But i know that may would be too expensive.

After listening to the entire Neotokyo OST, I am convinced Ed Harrison is THE one for Cyberpunk 2077.

This is something I could envision playing in one of the upper crust nightclubs. Or maybe it's totally out of place...you decide. :)

Well, what feels fitting to you now, add 64 years and that might feel fitting in 2077.

Not like we're listening to that much 1800s stuff right now.
