That concept art combined with the theme reassures me they have such a solid grasp of what the game should feel like.

Yeah, I've no doubts that they'll pull it off pretty close to how it should be visually and audibly. That's the one thing I have no concerns about.

I honestly trust them to figure out what songs they wish to put in the game. That being said I would also like to add that I'd like the ability for Players to import their own music on their own personal radios and car stereos (that way if the soundtrack ever gets repetitive we'd all have something else to fall back on).

That's one of the reasons I hope they take the app integration suggestion I made in the gameplay suggestions thread seriously, because I could see me popping my spotify playlists or pandora radio stations or music playlists on my PC up in-game when I want a change of pace, but don't want to risk alt-tabbing and having my game possibly crash to do it (it does that a lot when alt-tabbing, lemme tell you).

Same here, I personally would like to import music from my ITunes in the game, if I got tired of the same songs that is (hopefully the Devs will consider this and allow us to do just that). Though I must admit that for certain parts of the game there should be no way for the Players to play their own music (so it wouldn't interfere with the over all theme and drama of a cutscene, boss fight and epic-linear chases/getaways).

Ok so I am posting songs that have to do with the science's and biological stuff.

Some almost minimal electro from Dopplereffekt, to me it has such a clean feeling.... makes me think of a clean state of the art futuristic medical facility, with shiny surgical equipment laid out around the room. At the same time you look outside the window of this facility it is your typical cyberpunk environment rainy and there is grittiness and darkness.

Weird video but u get the idea...

This one I can only think of someone on a microscope... examining liquid and watching cells moving around, cells splitting and stuff... microbes and stuff... idk what im even thinking about right now.

A harder hitting song by Objekt, this one would be a virus attacking other cells.. or a nanobot attacking cells.

I have already posted here but I somehow just thought of this game again and I came up with a new suggestion.
This one might be too underground though, as it falls in categories such as black metal (don't worry, it's not about worshipping Satan and burning churches hahaha), post-metal, shoegaze, sludge and such. But why not? I suggest it because it's quite new (band is unsigned), deep, dark, atmospheric, emotional, engaging and I believe it's original, or at least not common. I really suggest you to listen to the whole album (You'll survive! You can do it!). It could find its little place somewhere in the game. I'd love it personally.

They're on bandcamp.

It's Polish!

They should cooperate with Daft Punk for in-game music.

I thought I'd suggest another techno/house dance musician all on their own, Mystery Skulls. Stylistically, Mystery Skulls feels a lot to me like Daft Punk somewhere between their Discovery and Tron Legacy content, which should feel pretty well-suited for a Cyberpunk videogame soundtrack (maybe for dance club sections).

First, the song that introduced me to his sound, 'Money':

Then there's 'Unstoppable':

And now, my recent favorite, 'Ghost':

( It's been several days since I posted here, so I hope making another is okay by now.)

Another thing that would be cool to include if they could would be some good mashups that would kinda fit the 80's/Cyberpunky aesthetic. Like this one!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-csYs5w7iY

You could have a DJ for a mashup radio station who constantly gets facts wrong on the original artists of songs or thinks the mashups he/she has are the originals because a lot of these songs and artists would be so old by 2077 that they could easily be forgotten, depending on how the internet in the CP 2077 universe would hold up. If the internet becomes a massive wikipedia of user-edited BS, then that would give all the more reason for misinformation. :p

^Great music choice. I hope we get ethnic music in the game. If everything's from Murica it won't feel multicultural, which is what any big city is.

Is this multicultural enough? Some Swedish Trash/Death Metal (sung in Swedish to of course)? They are delibratly ridiculous, filthy, humurous, explicit, etc, of course... both in visuals and lyrics. XD

Skitarg, with the song: "Jag bryter nacken av din häst"

Which roughly translates to:

"Shit-angry" (it's like a step or two further beyond being just angry) with the song "I break the neck of your horse"

It's a song about that people, who consider their animals their life and family and must include them in every picture etc, are really annoying... and what they would like to do to those people. XD

Or how about some late 80's, to early and mid 90's, Swedish Star Trek synthpop? XD

S.P.O.C.K, with the song "Never Trust a Klingon"
