Cyberpunk Soundtrack

+
I'd love to see some dark electronic music in the style like from around when Cyberpunk 2020 was out ... to give you an idea ... (not been too fond of the latest trailer's soundtrack btw)

Front Line Assembly - Landslide
Clock DVA - Transitional Voices
The Klinik - Hours and Hours

Skinny Puppy - Addiction
Damon Edge - The Android Stroll

:)

and seeing CDPR is polish ... maybe they can sway Zbigniew Preisner to make a song or two - he makes the saddest music in the world, incredibly beautiful, I could see him be much fitting to a game like this, even though he probably couldn't care less, but then again he did the score for It's All About Love so who knows :)

Deric: as an aside, I think some Soul or Funk in a future setting would be a nice touchstone for players to relate to. =)

A game without Funk is a game without GAME.....

However, I would also like to see these two get some exposure, and they make for the perfect background music in a nomad campaign...

Perturbator is amazing, and he's shown real interest in wanting to help with the soundtrack to Cyberpunk. Red, it needs to happen!

...WOW.

Didn't know who this artist was,so I looked 'em up on YouTube:

I can totally picture this in some high-end, trashy Eurodisco. =)

(The accompanying video is cheesy; put the song on in the background somewhere.)

One more for ya:

Interestingly, Perturbator's work reminds me of Nero (in the sense that I can picture it playing in some high-end, trashy Eurodisco):

And, as long as we're being meta around here, this video reminds me of the graffiti thread, and what form high-tech graffiti might take...

This one is a goodie.

Here is another by the same artist... his whole album "I Am The Night" would probably fit the style and setting.

Here is some from a similar artist, I'm not sure if I'm reposting so...

All right, the game's gonna be located in the Night City, right? City of cities, an essence of the word "urban"...and there's no true urban environments without music that grew out of the inner city streets:

I started going through this thread and ran out of time before I found out if anybody had mentioned Grendel and their album Timewave: Zero. A few songs in particular are pretty amazing and overall the album really takes me to a cyberpunk place in my mind. Check out the following video if you haven't seen it yet, very awesome in my opinion.
